I'm extremely psyched for Sunday. So far, it's gotten a perfect 100 from Metacritic, the only TV season to do so.
Here's the trailer that premired at Comic-Con. Dammit, I just wanna hibernate till Sunday night
SPOILERS!

So does anyone know if the live streaming of Breaking Bad on AMC's website works in Canada?

I would so buy this. I don't know if it was made by the same guy, but someone made the superlab as well and yes, that's Gus holding a piece of chicken in that first picture. Also, Gale's coffee maker!

Seriously, like, almost every episode has a big "WTF just happened!?!?!" ending. And yes, the first 3 seasons are on Netflix. Season 4 gets added tomorrow.

It's way too vast of a show to just jump in randomly, everything builds on each other and there is so much character development involved for every single character. Except Walt Jr, he just likes breakfast.

Start Season 5 once you're up to speed because I just can't see it being the same watching it without the context of everything that happened before it. There's very little time wasted on each episode and everything feels important.

yeah, there's no way you can skip a season and feel caught up. So much of the show is based around the relationships between people, so missing episodes means missing crucial character/plot developments.
And the first season is like, a little over 5 hours, and the next 3 are about 9-10 hours, so if the show hooks you half as much as it's hooked some of us, you'll probably definitely be caught up in time for season 5.1's third episode.

Except Walt Jr, he just likes breakfast. I hope that Walt, Jr. gets some more stuff in season 5, because RJ Mitte is a great actor(his acting in the episode where they give Walt an "intervention" is great. Such real, heartbreaking emotion that I don't think you could have gotten from anyone who hadn't gone through what RJ Mitte has IRL) and from everything I've heard/read about him, a hell of an amazing young man. On the other hand, I kind of like it that Walt, Jr. is kind of the lone, innocent character. A big part of me wants him to stay that way for the entire duration of the show.

I'm halfway into season 3 and I absolutely love this series. I'm trying as hard as I can to get done with everything before tomorrow.

Yeah, this isn't one of those shows you can just jump right in the middle of and not really miss anything important. You have to watch Breaking Bad from the very beginning to truly understand and appreciate it's genius. The whole point of the series it to watch a good man slowly go bad, if you randomly jump into the middle, you're missing the whole ride.

Please do yourself a favor and watch every episode first in order before you watch Season 5.

The whole point of the series it to watch a good man slowly go bad, if you randomly jump into the middle, you're missing the whole ride. yeah, I mean, I haven't even touched season 4 yet, but the transition that the characters make(not just Walt but also Jesse, Hank, Skylar, etc) is one you MUST watch from the introductions of the characters. I mean, the Walter White that we see somewhat reluctantly celebrating his birthday in the series premiere is worlds away from what we see at the end of Season 3(and I can't even imagine 4). Over the course of the episodes, we see the natural growth (and decay) of many characters(kinda(most likely intentionally) ironic, given Walt's biology background), and it's incredibly instrumental to the whole show.

Since Thursday I have smashed through season 1, 2 and 5 episodes into season 3. It is unbelievable, I can't wait till I'm all caught up, but I don't think I'll be able to last with a weeks wait between episodes haha! So far apart from Walt/Jesse, I LOVE Saul, he's such a sleazeball and he works perfectly
