Dude has gotten really fat but he can still go. Total nostalgia markout for me as well - vader was a staple on raw when I first started watching pro-wrestling.
If they bring back sid I WILL cream myself.

he didn't really look bigger than before.
great moment, so glad to see him get a reaction like that.
I instantly thought of when he was on Boy Meets World.
really though who would have thought Vader would have the best part of a raw in 2012?

Maybe his outfit was doing him some favors, but I thought he looked better than he did in 1998. He looked smaller than I remember... He looked like he was about the same height as Heath Slater as well.

Incredible mark out moment, and he still looked great.

Yikes, that sounds awful. A coma from what?

I'd read the rumors, and Slater's pre-match promo cemented them, so I saw it coming. But still, it didn't stop me from marking like hell when his music hit.

Yikes, that sounds awful. A coma from what? After effect of infected double knee replacement surgery scars. After being bed-ridden for half a year, he passed out on a plane to Japan.

Thinking on it, they should bring in a different legend every week just to beat the crap out of Heath Slater.

It was a fun match and I always like seeing a blast from the past. I would say though he didn't look very tall next to Heath Slater who is only about 6 foot 1 max.

Thinking on it, they should bring in a different legend every week just to beat the crap out of Heath Slater. And with all of them, Heath should make a remark involving his name that reveals who that legend is going to be. One week he can come out and say something about he would last forever in the military or something and call himself Sgt. Slater and then BAM!! Slaughter comes out.

So Heath Slater becomes an inverted Legend Killer? I think I can dig that.

That explains why it looked like he had a little trouble getting up to his feet when he was going from laying/kneeling on the mat. He looked a little "jiggly" when he bent over the rail to talk to the fans on the way to the ring, but the man is almost 60, so that can be overlooked. And was by this guy. Loved the return.

I enjoyed it. But it does say something when a retired guy that hasn't been heard from in years gets the biggest pop of the night.
On a side note, I wonder if an old guy making one last run against the younger generation would work. Kinda like Dark Knight Returns. I'd like to see that tried with Stone Cold.
