Well KZ's title chances just went up as Hatsu Hioki dropped a decision to Ricardo Lamas. Maybe he and Koch should fight.

Is it just me, or does Clay look like Scott Hall with his hair back?

Maynard just flips Guida off, I have to agree with him.

Guida's strategy was apparently to troll Gray Maynard into making a mistake.

Rather did enjoy Maynard briefly becoming the Incredible Hulk at the end of the 4th Round.

The ref should have warned Guida in the 2nd.

The hell is Clay Guida doing in this fight? Never seen him back away this much. I seriously think his plan was to tire out Maynard with rope-a-dope, but Gray learned from the Edgar fight and Clay didn't have a plan B so he kept going hoping to anger him into a mistake.

It obviously was, but he never ended up doing much on offense. I am curious to see how they judge this.

"I want a fourth fight with Edgar. I mean, might as well. At this point, we can have a great documentary DVD but with another fight, we could make it 2-discs!"

What a strange fight. Clay constantly looked busy with his movement and made Gray miss a lot but when you got right down to it, he didn't do much damage. Gray's fourth round was ****ing epic. I'm glad he got the decision.

Guida did that same thing against Gomi, he was more successful there obviously.

I went into to this fight rooting for Guida until he started running the whole time. If i wanted to watch a some guy on his bicycle I'd watch the tour de France.

I thought the crowd made this fight more interesting than it was...... it was a double turn. Guida was the babyface and Maynard was the heel coming in and the crowd made the turn in the 3rd round if I remember right.
I'm a Guida fan, but man that was painful to watch. I had it 48-47 Maynard with the 3rd round being the decider. I think those clinch strikes that Gray got in the 3rd (I think that was when it happened) made the difference and really worried Guida. I understand what Clay's gameplan was. It was very similar to Condit against Diaz. The problem is, Condit actually looked like he was sticking and moving. Guida looked alright in the first two rounds, but after that, it really did look like he was trying to throw a couple strikes here and there, but then he did look like he was running. I'm very disappointed as a Guida fan. With Dana's reaction, I think it's back to the prelims for him and certain gatekeeper status.
