I am doing a speech on the NCAA basketball tournament and have been looking for a simple estimate of the amount of Americans filling out brackets for this year. I need the statistic to be within the last year and it needs to be from a reputable source, preferably the original source of research. I thought this would be relatively easy, but I am finding it increasingly difficult to find an estimate from the last year. All of the sites are using the same information, research done from MSN in 2009, many claiming it as an estimate for this year. Anyone know a good place to find this information? I checked ESPN and other sites, several search engines and no such luck.
