I pretty much am, I am looking forward to E3 and what Nintendo may reveal there. I love the new tablet controller and the Zelda demo looked the s**t IMO. Hope PSO2 is released for it too.

I'm semi excited for the system. The name keeps making me think somebody smelt something bad.

If I was like 20 years old maybe I could get excited but Im 30 and cant get too excited about a "tablet controller" or whatever other trendy gimmicks they are pushing. Im at the point where I just want games and no other stupid gimmicky crap.

I am apparently prohibited with penalty of being really heckled (or maybe even death?) from being excited about the Wii U, given what I've been reading across the net.
(Real answer: I like the "wait and see" approach on new systems, gives a chance for manufacturers to work out hardware kinks, publishers to expand game libraries, and me to actually afford the things through price drops. I'm always up for hearing about Nintendo's offbeat brand of fooling around with technology, though.)

Honestly, not really. I've soured on Nintendo these days and find myself getting way more enjoyment from other developers. I wouldn't say no to a Mario Galaxy 3 or new Smash Bros. though.

I have such a backlog on the PS3, it'll be several years into the next generation before I even pick up another console.

It'll likely be a launch purchase for me if they have a good lineup.
And after the 3DS launch I'd imagine they'll have an awesome launch lineup.

I am, but I've gotta admit, while it's not really related Nintendo is killing my opinion of them with their recent approach to the eShop.

I'm pumped. 3DS has completely blown me away. It had kind of a slow launch, but over the past few months it's really came into its own as a great system.
Plus the Wii U's supposed to be the most powerful system by a wide margin, right? So imagine the awesome potential of a system with Nintendo properties, plus 3rd party developers working on it.

Honestly? No. If the Wii and GC have taught me anything, the Wii-U will start with strong 3rd party support but eventually end up being a 1st party system...

I just want a system that at least sometimes adds new features and has a good online experience. From what I've seen, Wii U seems alright. That name though...

Plus the Wii U's supposed to be the most powerful system by a wide margin, right? Well, at least until the PS4Orbis and Xbox129600 come out. Then they'll be a generation behind again. I wouldn't exactly say I'm excited, but that may change when they start showing off the potential launch games. I am interested to see what uses they come up with for the tablet controller though. Regardless, I buy every major console, so this won't be an exception.

I can't wait to have something I exclusively use to charge the controllers of other systems and watch Netflix that I can control with a touch pad.
