Okay, first off, I'm not saying all this simply because I like the guy. But after thinking about all the main guys on the roster and where they're at or what they're doing, it seems like Dolph Ziggler really is the most likely candidate to win the Royal Rumble.
Let's take a look at some of the other guys:
John Cena: Is wrestling The Rock at Wrestlemania anyway and doesn't need to even be in the Rumble, much less win it.
CM Punk: Is the current WWE Champion and likely to wrestle on the Royal Rumble undercard.
Daniel Bryan: Similar to Punk, although there's the possibility he could lose the World Championship ahead of time.
Randy Orton: At this point, it would be out of left field if he made it into the Wrestlemania main event.
Chris Jericho: Assuming he's returning, it wouldn't make sense to give him the win after being gone this entire time. And even WWE knows that.
Alberto Del Rio: He won last year and is not likely to get back-to-back wins.
The Miz: He'll probably face Punk on the undercard.
etc., etc., etc.
Feel free to disagree with me, but please tell us what you all think. Can anyone else but Ziggler really be this year's Rumble winner?

I would LOVE that. But, I just can't shake the feeling that the Rumble is between Orton and Sheamus this year.

I have a terrible feeling that The Rock is gonna win it to create a "Cena desperately tries to get the title off Punk for their match at mania" storyline.

I think Sheamus has it in the bag with Dolph, Cody and Wade just behind him (in that order).

I hope your right, either that or Jericho (I think he deserves the Rumble win after all he has done). I wouldnt be upset over Sheamus, Wade or Orton, but that would depend on if DB is still champion or not.
Im still hoping for something like this for the card:
Rock vs Cena
WWE Title Punk vs Jericho
WHT Submission match DB vs Ziggler
Streak Undertaker vs Barrett
IC Title/Hardcore match Cody vs Foley (one of the three faces of Foley eliminates Cody from the Rumble)
Del Rio vs Orton vs The Miz
Tornado Tag Booker T, Big Show and Sheamus vs Christian, Kane and Mark Henry
Tag Titles Air Boom vs Rey Mysterio and Justin Gabriel
US Title R Truth vs Zack Ryder
(With HHH no where to be seen)

I really want this to happen...at the same time, I want Jericho vs. Punk at Mania. Also, I have a hard time believing that Ziggler will win the Royal Rumble, as much as I like him and as awesome as he is. I will surely be a-marking if it does happen.

Dolph Ziggler is the only name that I can think of that would make me mark out, and I'm not even a massive fan of him, though I do like him.
After the mess last year with the World title I think we deserve a near 5* classic and the two guys I can see doing it is Dolph and Daniel Bryan. Give these guys half an hour to 45 minutes and guarentee everyone will be calling it match of the year the next day.
the only problem is the way that the WWE writers would get them from Royal Rumble to Wrestlemania, I just hope they keep up the current writing for as long as they can so we get the best Wrestlemania is a long time.

I am so glad I am not the only one that wants Dolph to win the Royal Rumble. Dolph is doing this whole "show off" thing and the Royal Rumble is the best place to do this. I can see him doing a good 30min+ at the rumble. And who doesn't want to see Dolph/Bryan at Mania? (Bryan will probably lose it before then but still.)

Cena's going to be in the Rumble, and I'd bet good money on his making the final four but not winning.
I'm sure the Rumble is really between Sheamus, Orton and Dolph, but I honestly would not mind Triple H winning. Because not only would it keep him away from Undertaker, it'd lead into Punk/HHH at Mania, giving Punk a truly dangerous opponent where the outcome would be in serious doubt (I don't think Dolph's on that level yet) and a chance to pick up a career-significant win.
If Rock wins the Rumble, then I see Cena and Punk winding up the final two participants in an EC match- and I'd be torn. Part of me would want to root for Punk because I really hope Rock/Cena isn't for the title, but part of me would want to root for Cena because naturally I have to cheer Cena over Punk.

The 4 best chances to win it:
1. Sheamus: They're really high on him and he's probably due for a title shot.
2. Ziggler: Proven himself ready time and time again
3. Jericho: Assuming it's him returning which I'm still not sure it is.
4. Orton: He might get a big hometown pop and face the WHC at Mania. Would not mind a match with him and Bryan.

Actually, scratch that last part of my previous post. If Rock did win the Rumble, then it'd be a guarantee that Cena wins the title in the Chamber because I doubt WWE'd be stupid enough to waste a Rumble win and not let Rock compete for a title. That would probably lead into Punk/Laurinaitis at Mania.

Ziggler should draw number 20something
But still come out before Number 1
And be the first guy to win from Number 0

I'm betting one dollar (Canadian) that Sheamus will be winning it.
They've just been pushing him way strong over the past few months.

I'm thinking Sheamus or Barrett. Orton wouldn't surprise me.

I really think it should be Ziggler too that would instantly move him to main event status this time to stay. I would also have him win the world heavyweight championship from Daniel Bryan at Wrestle mania that would mean Bryan had a good run with the belt and would catapult Ziggler to a top heal in the company where I think he belongs.

If Sheamus wins and faces DB for the World Title at WM28, that would be hilarious.
NOT GOOD ENOUGH FOR 27 BUT MAIN EVENT WORTHY FOR 28
