... he needs a new primary finisher.
The Zig-Zag, to me, just looks like a jumping grab. Very little impact, hardly any effect, and rudimentary execution.
At the very least he should bring back his aggressive sleeperhold, if only because it's better than his current big move.
So, do you agree? What (if anything) should he switch his finisher to?
I'm not against pushing him - he's proven to be really good in the ring, and he's over as a #heel, (haha, I made a joke based on his ring attire!) - but I just can't get over the Jump-Grab-Barely Hold On-Fall finisher.
At least other over heels (like Cody Rhodes, for example) have finishers that look more impactful. (and like the move or not, the CrossRhodes at least looks like it's doing something, even if you can't tell what that "something" is.)
Anyone agree? Disagree? Talk to me ....

I like the Zig Zag but it does depend on who's taking the move over whether it looks like it has massive impact.
Then again Ziggler has a few secondary finishers (sleeper/super kick, I think I'm missing a few out too) so it's one of those situations where if he needed to switch his moves around he's got a few things in his moveset that could take its place.

I love the Zig Zag simply because when the right person is selling it it looks deadly as any other finisher and because it is a quick out of nowhere finisher.
I love all his finisher Zig Zag , Fameasser , sleeper , superkick, because Ziggler can pretty much do them seemingly out of nowhere there is no set ups to his finishers which is what works for him , so he keeps that air of unpredictability.

The only move that needs to be brought back is that kick off the arpon he used to knock Batista onto his ass during his debut match.
Meanwhile, my logic is when he faces a regular opponent the ZigZag is as good as any finisher but what I liked about his match with Kane a couple years back was that he brought out the Sleeper as a secondary so that even big guys aren't a threat to him.

I think the Zig Zag looks good, though I wouldn't mind if he switched to the Superkick on a permanent basis.

I love the Zig Zag, but it's just not a finisher. I wish he would use a different once. And I'm pretty sure Dolph Ziggler could do anything, he just has to find something that fits.

I actually like the Zig Zag. It has that "out of nowhere" feel similar to the RKO. And he needs that kind of move in order to believably beat a top level face.
I can see Ziggler getting a pin on Punk or Cena by slipping out of the GTS/AA and then hitting the Zig Zag, or countering an RKO attempt with it.

Most finishers in the WWE don't really look any stronger than any of the other moves in a wrestler's moveset. Having gotten used to that, the Zig Zag seems fine to me.
