Streams area big part of the buyrate problem. There is no way that only 6000 people are illegally streaming PPVs. It's so easy for people to stream over the internet and for people to find these illegal streams. I have a simple rule of thumb, if I steam a ppv event I buy the DVD when it comes out.

That's another thing... the quick turnaround with the DVDs. I bet that, given the choice between paying whatever it is to watch the PPV live or waiting a few weeks to get the DVD for approximately half that price, most people would get the DVD.

I have a simple rule of thumb, if I steam a ppv event I buy the DVD when it comes out. What if the ppv was a peice of s***? After a year or two I'm able to find the shows on gohastings for $2-$4, and I buy them for completion purposes. For not a lot of money I've been able to collect every WWE show from Royal Rumble 98 - Elimination Chamber 2010, and I've found that having a PPV library is an invaluable resource, especially as I wasn't watching from 2000 through the end of 2009. For me some of the worst shows are the most fascinating to watch, such as those from 1995 and 2003. I really appreciate having access to primary sources (the events), especially with how revisionist WWE can be.
