His webshow was primarily advertised through twitter. And thats where Cena first started endorsing him.

And like I said, I'm fine with that aspect of twitter. I just don't like it being talked about every 5 minutes just so they can make a word trend.

Well if something is trending, then it means a fair number of people are talking about.
Kinda obvious why that would get highlighted. People who don't watch wrestling tend to get curious and want to see why "Such and such" is trending. Doesn't mean they'll automatically fall in love and order the next PPV, just that for a brief moment they're introduced to it.

I just imagined a new stable. "THE TWITTER MASTERS." Punk, Bryan and Ryder.

Punk was bitching about it just a few weeks ago.

I don't think I've seen anyone question WWE promoting that they are on twitter.
What people question is the ridiculous extent they sometimes do so.

The only time it was really bad was Rock and Cena with their twitter promo. Usually it doesn't bother me. I dunno. Both of them had some pretty funny lines during that promo, and part of me does want to see "Cena bitchslapped Rock" trend on Twitter.

I wonder if Vince would be happy if he knew exactly how many people were Tweeting during Raw.

Doesn't mean they'll automatically fall in love and order the next PPV, just that for a brief moment they're introduced to it. But most stuff that trends in WWE only does so for mere minutes. That's really not enough time for most people to notice it and thus inquire about what's going on. Not to mention it doesn't really take that much attention at all for something to trend. Not to mention I wouldn't consider how WWE has been cramming Twitter down people's throats highlighting it. Sounds to me more like them shoving it in your face and forcing you to pay attention to it.
