Punk alone is enough that fans will be interested, as he's pretty much the most cheered superstar on Raw. And the Miz, while many find boring (myself included), is probably the most hated heel on Raw right now. And Del Rio's always been great in these kinds of matches. So I don't see why this match wouldn't do just fine without Cena. It must just be me, but IMO this Punk/Miz/Del Rio match seems to be a boring filler title match until the Road To Wrestlemania gets started. Cena would add a lot to the match. Well TLC is pretty much just setting up for the Road to Wrestlemania. And while Cena would add more to the match, I don't think it really needs him to succeed. Though I always thought TLC matches worked better when there's more people involved, so I wouldn't complain if Cena's in it. As long as he doesn't win the title.

He's like Bill Murray in What About Bob? He's not gone, he's never gone!
He'll be put in the main event next week.

Gotta say, Akeem isn't alone. Right now the match kind of reeks of filler match with "Spoiler: Punk Wins" inserted somewhere. That said, they may be experimenting, for lack of a better word, to see how their year-end PPV will do without Cena as a focal point or the focal point. Throughout this year, and for a while, Cena's been either in the title picture, the main event, a predominant focus, or two/all of the three. As it stands now, this'll be one of the first PPV's in a while where Cena wasn't one of the draws.

I like the idea of making Cena the special guest referee in the Ziggler vs. Ryder match. Maybe with some sort of stipulation where if Ryder wins it somehow screws over Cena. I really like this idea

We've got one more week... what will happen? Silly question. He'll win.

Commentating.
Actually, I'd seriously like to see that. He could do a good job being the voice of reason to Cole.

I really like this idea I liked it too, until I realized there's not much you can do to get Cena to care about anything stipulation-wise. We're just coming off him giving away a damn TITLE SHOT. I think the only thing you can do to threaten Cena is actually hold Little Jimmy hostage at chairpoint...

Could see him reffing the Ziggler/Ryder match and then moving into a mini feud with Ziggler afterward.

I don't see them just adding him to the match after last week. I wouldn't be surprised if he was involved, I just don't see why you go through all the rigamarole last week just to have John Laurinitis show up and say "OK, you can be in the match again, I was just yanking your chain."

Not to mention last year where as Referee he did the right thing in spite of being fired as the consequences...(yes I know how it turned out but still. Characterwise he's the Hero Archetype of doing the right thing regardless of the consequences)

Dammit...HATE getting my own hopes up, but Cena reffing the US title match and screwing Ryder would be AMAZING. I'd probably mark harder for that than I ever have for anything in wrestlnig.

“Isn't on the card” just to add to the long-term storyline about the state of Cena's mind, first the boos, then giving up a title shot (to alleviate the jeers or because he no longer has what it takes to be at the top) and now not being on a PPV.
Then Jericho will probably come back to run over his puppy and spill coffee on him just to tip Cena over the edge.

I get the feeling Cena will get involved in the U.S. Championship match or a post-match celebration.

I'm thinking Kane is going to pull some other random attack on a face on this PPV and Cena will be the one to come out and make the save for them before Kane does any real damage to them, igniting their feud.
That's just my guess though.
