I'm sure nearly everyone loves to watch the Royal rumble, and it's been going on for so long, so I was wondering what some of your favorite eliminations are.
I can think of Maven dropkicking out the Undertaker in 2002, but how about some others?

Sid's elimination of Sgt. Slaughter in 1992.
Also, Paul London shooting star pressing the floor thanks to Snitsky in 2005.

Also from 2002, The Hurricane attempting to double chokeslam Austin and HHH. Austin and HHH look at each other in disbelief before eliminating Hurricane.
And two brutal one's Sgt Slaughter in 92 by (Sid Justice) and Paul London in 2005 (by Snitsky)

Snitsky's SICK clothesline to Paul London @ the 2005 Rumble is the first one that pops into my head. I thought London was going to break his neck on that spot.
Taka Michanoku's elimination at the 2000 Rumble by The Big Bossman is equally cringe worthy.

Taka Michanoku's elimination at the 2000 Rumble by The Big Bossman is equally cringe worthy. Can we really count that one seeing as Taka wasn't an official participant in the match?

Kane eliminating Dolph Ziggler in 2009 was hilarious.

Taka Michanoku's elimination at the 2000 Rumble by The Big Bossman is equally cringe worthy. That's the first thing that came to mind for me! It was made that much better by showing it over and over again.

Santino's in 2009 was brilliant cos he was really over at that time. His music hits, the crowd pops, a 7-person SANTINO sign comes up on the hardcam, he slides into the ring & imediately gets clothesline out and screams "I wasn't ready!". Classic Santino.

Hassan, Taka, London as already mentioned
The Team Angle double elimination by Lesnar. Leading to the F5 Matt Hardy elimination
I also enjoyed the eliminations that HBK did to MNM and Shelton. Shelton sold the superkick elimination like death.
Oh and Big Show literally throwing/tossing out RVD during the 04 (i think) Rumble.

Some suggestions:
1990 - always liked the way Mr Perfect was eliminated over the turnbuckle by Hogan rather than over the ropes, Warrior's accidental elimination by Hogan and then bizarre running rage back to the locker room always amuses me too from this Rumble
1992 - Sid on Slaughter was brutal, but loved the look of confusion on Repo Man's face when Boss Man through him out, however Savage eliminating himself when he wasn't supposed to to pursue Jake then then Bobby and Gorilla trying to explain why he was allowed back in is the best
1993 - the feud that followed sucked but the Giant Gonzales debut to eliminate the Undertaker was an awe inspiring moment
1994 - Shawn's sneaky helping to eliminate Diesel was a nice moment
1995 - best finish to a rumble ever when the Shawn Michaels rule was created and he eliminated the Bulldog
1999 - I really liked the finish again, Vince eliminating Austin was a shocker
2000 - Rikishi dancing with and then turning on and eliminating Too Cool, constant Kaientai eliminations especially Taka nose dive
2001- Drew Carey eliminating himself when Kane comes out, Scotty Too Hotty coming out to the ring realising Undertaker and Kane are waiting for him has the most priceless look on his face, again love the finish with Austin belting kane with the chair before the clothesline diving into the ropes
2002 - Hurricane trying to choke slam Austin and Triple H, Maven eliminating Undertaker
2004 - can't remember if he eliminated him after - but the Goldberg spear on Nunzio was very memorable
2005 - the botch finish at the end I didnt realise until recently was a botch, the Snitsky/London elimination stood out
2007 - closing moments between Undertaker and HBK were a bit special
2011 - again the Santino/Del Rio finish was superb

Jerry Lawler by Bret Hart in 1997 - Hart and Austin are the only two in the match at that stage, King is on commentary. Hart has Austin in the Sharpshooter as the countdown finishes, leading to Lawler's music. Lawler stands up and laughs at his evil genius and says "It takes a King..." while taking his jacket off, and climbs up into the ring to attack Hart as he has the Sharpshooter on Austin. Hart however releases Austin, grabs Lawler and punches him over the top rope to the floor. Lawler gets back up holding his jaw, stumbles back to his commentary position, finishes his previous comment with "... to know a king" while struggling to get his jacket back on, and Hart goes back to dealing with Austin as the match goes on with Lawler on commentary like nothing happened ;D

Hasn't the Rumble been Pat Patterson's baby since it's inception? I remember reading that he still goes over all of the spots (which is why the Rumble match is consistently good)

I remember reading that he still goes over all of the spots (which is why the Rumble match is consistently good) Yes, I think he came up with the concept. Even when he left the company a few years ago, I read that he was invited back to book the Rumble.
