So going off the segment, and the WWE.com article, as well last week, it would seem everyone else thinks Cena is bsing when he says the reactions don't get to him.
They have time so I don't expect anything big to happen right away, but slowly chipping away until Rock shows back up is smart. You know, long term stuff.
Piper was on too.

I'm at the point with Piper that I can never tell whether he's being awesome or rambling like Tony Atlas.
I can't tell whether or not that's a good thing, but this segment as a whole would've really worked better with a smarky crowd.

It was to be expected. The Carolinas is one the places thats nicer to Cena. It was just bad timing as far as getting THAT reaction they wanted.
It would be hilarious though if now that its a bit encouraged to boo Cena people start cheering him.

I liked it, but if it isn't going to be a slow build up to Cena turning heel (and let's be honest it probably isn't) I can't really see a point for it.
I did like it, and I hope it means slow turn but not holding my breath

It was a good segment but really it was the worst crowd they could have picked for that segment.

Now bringing in a legend to put over Cena and try to make us like him will become a weekly segment.

Now bringing in a legend to put over Cena and try to make us like him will become a weekly segment. Next week: Ted Dibiase, Sr: "For years, I believed that every man had a price..... that is until I met John Cena."

Now bringing in a legend to put over Cena and try to make us like him will become a weekly segment. I was sent in a capsule from a place long from here and I came here for one reason to attack and keep coming. Not to ask but just to give. Not to want but just to send…send the power of the Warrior down everybody’s throat in the WWE!!! John Cena feels the power of the warriahhhhhh, John Cena!! Go to Samoa and grab a bull by its horns and say 'not today!! not today!!!" YOU NEED TO GRAB THAT BULL BY ITS HORNS AND SAY I...WILL....WIN!!!! Cena!!!!! YOU ARE THE NEW WARRIOR OF THE WWE!! AND YOU NEED TO TAKE DOWN THAT BULL!!!

Agreed with everyone else. Of all the places to play off the "Cena divides crowds" thing, why the South? For some reason, they're very un-smarky, for lack of a better word.
