Raw starts with a Cena segment? Raw always has a Cena segment. What does it matter when it happens?

Piper's involvement makes this at least 10 times more interesting than any other opening promo from Cena, by default.

AWWWWWWW HERE WE GO
Cena's Road to the Darkside continues. Yes, I'm watching the Star Wars Marathon on Spike.

I hope this is the start of the slow burn heel turn. Week by week have Cena get verbally taken apart by a legend or someone on the roster until he snaps. Given how much he has pushed Zack Ryder - have him just snap during a tag match with him after Zack get's pinned. Or maybe something like that HBK/Hogan post match celebration into superkicking Hogans head off that turned HBK heel - all smiles then BAM AA on Ryder....close up of Cena looking deranged and then fade to black.
Or he'll just smile and take the abuse like a man.

^ Possibly the latter. Almost definitely the latter. I say almost because, again, the promo they had at Raw Old School was really great.

Just a quick thing to add. As a father of an 11 year old who LOVES Cena, the other day, after allowing him to stay up to watch SS, he tapped out five minutes into the match and went to bed; Not sleep, bed. I asked him why the next day and his simple reply was " I was bored, I knew John would get in there and win."
Thats a heck of a statement from someone who is his younger fanbase saying he was bored of watching him. Then he asked when Mason Ryan was on next, so not really a reliable source! (My son's name is Mason)
That being said, I honestly hope Cena has SOMETHING resembling a reaction to Piper if Roddy is on his game with the mic.

The announce table, welcoming us to the show.
Nah, actually, they're more likely to be first. Then Piper second. Or possibly the ring announcer second, then Piper comes out, making Piper third. Then Cena fourth. Unless Piper introduces any other quick guests first, in which case Cena might be fifth or sixth.
"...who's on first?"

Piper's Pit with Stone Cold was bad. In fact I've not enjoyed Stone Cold's promo work for many years.

Awesome. Last time Piper and Cena had interaction (just before Survivor Series 2010) it was one of the top segments of the year.
