(If this isn't in the right place, please move it to where it should be. If this topic has already been made, feel free to close this.)
We've all played these at some point, I'm sure.
WWF No Mercy, WCW nWo Revenge, Wrestlemania 2000...
So I felt it would be nice to have a topic where we just look back and remember them.

WarZone was the first game I ever rented for the console along with Golden Eye...they were the first games I ever got for the system too. I used to rent consoles for a while then my parents finally bought me one for Christmas....still got it and still play it.
I remember I cried when I didn't get No Mercy for my birthday that year. I forgot to remember that we were doing my birthday with family the day before my actual birthday...guess what I opened 24 hours later? Yep lol.
I played Revenge for hours on end. I used to rent it all the time and finally got a copy from Gamestop used (had a BB sticker on it). This is back when they had the little bags for the games. I actually put it back in that bag until the bag finally gave out after each time I played it.
I got WM2000 used from Gamestop as well I believe....I remember being so excited when I put in the cartridge and powered it up and realized it was an unlocked copy with everything available. I was like 8 or 9 at the time so playing through to unlock things was a bit of a foreign concept to me. No one in my family was a gamer and my neighbor was all about Sega Genesis and Sonic games.
Can't forget the crap games from that era either though....World Tour....Backstage Assult...Mayhem....Hardcore Revolution (not a bad game just an outdated engine at the time which really hurt it). I never had Attitude so can't say anything to it.

Friends and I would spend hours playing all THQ/AKI wrestling games. If we weren't playing that, it would be Perfect Dark. I miss those days.

I was just playing Wrestlemania 2000 a few seconds ago, and it's amazing how much harder it is than No Mercy, or even WCW/nWo Revenge.

My friends all seem to think the best ones were Revenge and No Mercy but I prefered World Tour and WM 2000. They were all fun though. Why the hell does THQ refuse to use this style for Smackdown vs Raw. You could do so much more. I'm sure they think they're moving forward but the games now remind me more of WWF Attitude, etc, just button mashers that I have no interest in.

I have every N64 AKI game except VPW1 - WCW/nWo World Tour, Revenge, WM2000, No Mercy, and VPW2.
VPW2 is by far the best of the bunch, if you can handle Japanese menus. The CAW is awesome - it even has a pretty cool mask creator.
There is also MMA rules and positions in the match.
That said, if I pick up and play any of them today, it is most often Revenge. That has the most nostalgic memories attached to it. AKI Man is so much fun.

Viscera's face from No Mercy scared the piss out of me as a kid, and it still kind of does.
His face in Wrestlemania 2000 is even worse.

Random fact: I sold my copy of either WM 2000 or No Mercy (not sure which) to a friend of mine for 100 dollars. I don't know why he bought it for that. It went something like this
"I'll give you 100 dollars for that." "But you can get it new for 60!" "I'll give you 100 dollars." "Okay."
He was....strange.

I remember playing WCW/nWo Revenge and being baffled as to why Roddy Piper was the World Heavyweight Champion, despite never winning it in WCW.

I remember playing WCW/nWo Revenge and being baffled as to why Roddy Piper was the World Heavyweight Champion, despite never winning it in WCW. Or anywhere else. Were his IC run in 92 and Tag run in 06 the only times he's ever had a title?

I love how WCW World Tour is like playing a strong-style Japanese match, complete with no-selling and silent applauding crowd. It's fun to play when I want something different.
I own World Tour, Revenge, WM 2000 and No Mercy as well as Warzone and Attitude for the N64, and they are all different enough that I have to be in a specific mood to play each one. I like that about them, and I enjoy when wrestling games aren't interchangable (save for the rosters).

Distinct lack of appreciation for WCW Mayhem - the only game in which you could smash through Ernest Miller with eight spears, five belly-to-belly suplexes and four Jackhammers...and still have him kick out at one.

I remember how in No Mercy, if you were in a ladder match, and the other guy knocked down the ladder as you were about to grab the belt, the ladder would fall, but you;d still be floating in the air before falling down. Always amused me.
