I always dug that sometimes wrestlers would find a color combo and stick with it so it became distinctive to them. I wish more did it, and if my previous thread is any indication, I will be proven wrong and there will be hundreds of guys who are thematically color coordinated.
BTW: Solid black does not count as it has been done a thousand times, is painfully generic, and does not make the wrestler stand out. The only wrestlers I can think of who made solid black work were Steve Austin, Stan Hansen, and Iron Mike Sharpe.
Hogan-Red and yellow Misawa-Green and white Bryan (and by extension Regal)-Maroon and white Kobashi-Orange and white, then purple and black

I like that too. Gives the wrestler almost like a sports team-style association with a color scheme. I always thought the DX guys should have stuck to black and green exclusively, but you always had Triple H wearing red, purple, blue, X-Pac with the black and red, Shawn wearing red, etc.
Shane Douglas - black and yellow, to go along with the Pittsburgh sports teams Taz - black and orange Roddy Piper - blue Val Venis - purple
A lot of the old tag teams had color schemes, especially ones associated with countries:
British Bulldogs - blue and red Bolsheviks - red and yellow Rougeaus - blue and yellow Road Warriors - black and red

Duggan started as a generic black trunks guy but switched to blue once he became USA centric tough guy Duggan. Hennig switched up to neon colors before long after the Perfect gimmick came into effect. Kana, depending on her mood I guess, rocks either purple and red or blue and white.

Hansen also had some navy blue to go with the black, on his knee and elbow pads, I thought.
Santino's been very much blue, red, and black for his primary singlet colors.
Otunga seems to be building towards having that deep red as his color since moving full on to the lawyer gimmick.
Zack Ryder's had purple and orange as his primaries for a while now.

Duggan was always in Blue was he not? Big John Studd always wore the same pants. etc... I was surprised to see pics of Studd in green pants and light blue pants. He even got a Jakks toy with the light blue pants.

Crimson-Black and Red (though considering the name, you'd think the red would be more prominent)

A lot of the stables in Dragon Gate thend to have their own colour themes. Currently you have MAD BLANKEY (yellow and red), World-1 International (pink and silver), and Akatsuki (red and black [the only colours Shingo can apparantly wear]).

I do love that Japanese companies often make a big deal out of the color(s) you wear, given how rookies are often relegated to plain black until they prove themselves.
Definitely wish more US wrestlers did it, or at least did it more consistently. Some guys go on streaks where they use a certain color, then seem to change it up for little apparent reason.
Back in ROH, even though he'd sometimes have red, white, or black outfits, I typically associated CM Punk with the color yellow.
Jay Lethal, meanwhile, typically wore green and white once he came into his own.
Its funny that Danielson has made maroon his color for quite awhile now, since early on blue was definitely his dominant color. In TNA these days I think AJ Styles has worked towards making blue and white his main colors.

I think Scott Steiner has stuck with some combo of red, white and black since turning heel on Rick.

I think Scott Steiner has stuck with some combo of red, white and black since turning heel on Rick. You could probably say that about a lot of the nWo guys, especially Nash and Hall.
