I was thinking with the WM XXIX in the NY area that maybe they will go with a bit of an ECW theme for the Hall of Fame seeing as ECW was big in the territory. I was thinking about who could go in & this is who I came up with.
Mick Foley - His speech would be great for the cheap pops alone. Induction probably done by Terry Funk
Joey Styles - He called some of the most memorable moments in history. Maybe JR can induct him.
Paul Heyman - Despite what people may think of him he was the heart & soul of the promotion, was also a great commentator, loved his pairing with JR. Brock Lesnar to induct.
I don't think that they could do an all ECW year as too many worthy guys are in TNA (Taz, Dudleys RVD) but having a few ECW guys would be really interesting.

Aren't people too bored with ECW to even make mention of it again on TV?

If they didnt bother doing a WCW theme at Atlanta i don't see them doing any theme HOFs. I can see Foley going in at WMXXX if it is at MSG.

I think choosing to induct Heyman would be most likely. He needs to go in to open the door for other ECW guys. Outside of Foley and maybe Taz and Tommy Dreamerand the Dudleys, I have a hard time imagining a WWE Hall of Fame ceremony with most of the top ECW guys (Sandman, Raven, RVD, New Jack).

I'd be curious to hear New Jack's acceptance speech.

You know what else would be awesome? I think it would be fantastic if someone was to hold an Extreme.....Reunion or something like that. I'm really curious as to what all of these ECW alumni are up to these days!

Foley's a shoe-in. I dunno if Heyman would accept the nomination, he seems like the kind of guy that wouldn't go for it since it's just a title, there's no actual hall of fame.
Styles I don't think has earned it. Great announcer of course, but we're not talking Gordon Solie or JR here.

ECW was, despite how it's been beaten well past death at this point, a majorly influential part of wrestling history. Joey Styles was the VOICE of that promotion. I would argue that he should be in.

Of course, to be fair to the ceremony in Atlanta, there were reports saying that WWE wanted to induct the Horsemen that year as a group. To me that would have been very WCWish. Of course it's not known why that didn't happen. Either it was because they didn't know how they would go about getting Flair, or maybe they felt the Road Warriors AND the Four Horsemen would be too much in one year.

Can you imagine the reaction in the arena? Inducting Heyman, Joey, RVD, Sandman, Raven all in the same night. or at the same time.

Foley one day will be inducted into the HOF but mostly on the basis of his WWE accomplishments with his history in WCW and ECW mentioned as a secondary legacy.
Heyman deserves to go in.
Not convinced at all about how worthy Joey Styles is.

The only guys from ECW who actually deserve a spot in the HoF are The Dudley Boyz. As much as I like Raven, Sabu, etc. they haven't really done anything of note since ECW folded.
Eh, if Koko B. Ware is in, then I guess anybody can be inducted.

There are some big names that have yet to be inducted, and I think having an all ECW class would just further the "How did ___ get in before ____?" thing.
