Disclaimer: I am enjoying the angle. Just seems a bit unrealistic that they're both still getting fooled by her. Sure DBry is just sugarcoating her for the title but Punk seems genuinely interested. Love makes you stupid it seems.

I don't think either of them are interested in AJ at all. Bryan, like you said, is his usual manipulative self, but Punk just wants AJ to not get herself hurt and/or cost him the WWE title. He admitted he's somewhat turned on by AJ's eccentricities, but he's a realist first and I don't see them becoming a power couple after the Bryan feud ends. Unless AJ can reign herself in, then the pairing might work.
AJ desperately wants affection from almost anyone willing to take her. Her limit is Michael Cole, the only person so far genuinely interested in her. Kane considered it, but she was too much for him.

I'm quite sure the WWE video makers are quite aware of this fact and have no doubt created a 2 minute montage with wacky music to play up this sometime down the road. The only question is which face is going to be given the honors to play said clip. Sounds like a Cena segment. |

Bryan is trying to manipulate her to get the title back, Punk is just being booked like a bitch in this angle, IMO.

Alicia - Clearly a nutjob on the level of Ted Nugent with all the fur she wears. Definitely not compatible with vegan Daniel Bryan. And than there's the whole Rihanna thing... See?
