A midcard and lower card with personalities and characters that people can get behind. Watching some of the Attitude era shows, this is what really stood out to me. I mean, even guys like The Oddities were getting noticable pops, whereas today "superstars" at the same level and even at higher level get close to a Conway Pop every single time.

What do the people need? That's showin' them, Al. Exactly what I came in here to say.

The fans don't know what they want... But, if they did and they got what they wanted. They would be right here complaining about it. That again makes the erroneous assumption that everyone has the same opinion though. There are always gonna be complaints sure, but that's because people have different POVs.

I want guys to be able to lose clean and not be totally crushed.
I want the midcard to mean something.
I want more back and forth matches. Make it look like an actual sport rather than just jobbing guys out for whoever is in a storyline.
I want an emphasis on guys who can go rather than someone just for their size.
I want the matches to take priority over the storylines rather than a soap opera with a few short matches in it.

I want the younger guys to have the freedom to let their personalities shine. I remember reading a while back that Ziggler adlibbed his own line in a scripted promo and got told off for it.

Throwing all the nitpicky stuff out the window, all any audience truly wants is compelling and entertaining television. That's where WWE continually fails, especially the compelling part. Things really don't change much anymore, and people get bored as a result.

I admit that the booking could and should be better and that the midcard could be stronger, but I actually feel that WWE is the best match-wise that it's been in a LONG time. They've been listening to the fans a lot more than they have been and with this "fan interaction" era coming up soon, I'm pretty optimistic about things.

-A midcard I can care about -Tag teams that stay together for more than 3 months and aren't used as jobbers for singles guys -No more Lawler -Divas given something to do All this, plus meaningful storylines (although "a midcard I care about" and "Divas given something to do" sort of covers that).

This is spot on. Do people here remember the 2000 presidential campaign when Al Gore started to show more emotion to show people he wasn't bland and how much worse he looked doing it. When you have writers and Vince trying to turn wrestlers into something there not it shows in the way the wrestler presents himself.

Whatever it is, it's probably not wrestling. The story-heavy episodes always seem to get better ratings than those that are wrestling-focused.

We're gonna find out with this stupid fan influence the show thing. If it's anything like the commercial claims, we'll be steering the ship with influence on major characters.

Consistency, continuity and something that can appeal to a larger scale of people. New stars and people to grab our attention. Guys who aren't just "guy who wrestles" and are actually interesting characters. The ability to choose who we want as stars without the company responding by burying them (gotta pay their dues bah god). Not to be insulted by the programming with things that make little or no sense to anyone who has been watching for more than a month. The titles to mean something. For WWE to wake up and realise they've not moved forward much in recent years. For them to realise there are other people in the company that people wanna see besides John Cena.
...Or at least, that's just me but why should they care what I think? I'm only a 25 percenter.
