That's actually a pretty solid, and accurate, Top 10 list. I don't see anything I see any huge objections to. And they nailed the Top 3, so go them

Number 4 and number 5 are two of my favourite matches ever so I'll certainly agree with this list.

Uhhh...the RVD/Guerrero ladder match didn't make the top 10? Are you kidding me?

Rock/Cactus/Too Cool vs HHH/X-Pac/Malenko/Saturn/Benoit should be in the top ten. A great match in front of an absolutely red hot crowd.
Perfect.

Shelton/Shawn was way too low.

Rock/Cactus/Too Cool vs HHH/X-Pac/Malenko/Saturn/Benoit should be in the top ten. A great match in front of an absolutely red hot crowd. Perfect. That was epic - I rewatched it recently and it's just as good as I remembered it Otherwise a very fair list (though I'd maybe question the order in some places but it's all about opinions, and the Benoit matches - like the 10 man and the cage match with Angle - are obviously missing) - but very impressed to see Owen vs. Bulldog remembered. Edit: I see the 10-man came in at number 18 - and they skilfully avoided all references to Benoit by just calling them the Radicalz, even writing about Benoit pinning Grandmaster Sexay "... leaving Grandmaster Sexay alone in the ring, allowing The Radicalz to capitalize and pick up the win."

Michaels/Cena I can understand, but I have to question of Perfect/Flair was really that good.

HBK/Cena sure does get a lot of love. I tried watching it once, but was never able to finish it. It all just felt way too drawn out. Maybe it's one of those matches that isn't as good if you didn't follow the storyline that went with it, but I wasn't all that impressed.

Michaels/Cena was pretty much what I expected. Still Cena's best match. Whether you can give all of that to HBK or not, it's still a solid one hour match

Michaels/Cena I can understand, but I have to question of Perfect/Flair was really that good. It was very good, but you kinda have to understand it like BigWill was discussing the Shawn/Cena match. As a stand alone match, both have had much better. But if you follow the storyline of them being inseperable for over a year and then Perfect turning face on him and Heenan AND it has a Loser Leaves the WWF stipulation, it's pretty memorable.

Ahh come on now - the Perfect/Flair storyline and the "Lose Leaves" match paved the way for one of the most important developments in the WWE in recent years - the end of Laycool For that alone it should be top 5 at least.

Uhhh...the RVD/Guerrero ladder match didn't make the top 10? Are you kidding me? That's what I was thinking. It's much better than the RVD/Edge/Cena match.

Maybe I had forgotten the whole night out of embarrassment, but was that "Lakers vs Nuggets" five on five match all that great? I remember watching it, and the only thing I can recall from the match is that apparently Kennedy dropped Orton a little too heavily on his shoulder, which was supposedly one of the things that led to him getting fired.
Sure the match was in the mid-40's on the list, but I mean, there have probably been five matches this year alone that didn't make the list that trump that dumb McMahon ego-boost of match.

It's a shame they didn't put the Benoit/Angle cage match or Austin vs Benoit, both from 2001.

The thing that amuses me about the number 1 entry is that Impact subsequently jerked the curtain with a no-DQ world title triple threat that had run ins from literally two dozen people, as if to try and one-up it.

Shelton/Shawn needs to be in the top 5. Besides that not bad of a list.
