I kinda wish these would comeback in some shape or form. I'm currently watching the Clash of the Champions set and also I'm reminded of when ECW would run shows with them. It just seems there's so much you could do with them.

That was probably the one change Hogan made to TNA back in 2010 that I liked. I get why they got rid of it ( takes away one side of the ring for dives and makes run ins harder) but I always loved that look.

I loved when WCW brought it back in 2000. It really makes the wrestlers feel larger than life. If I recall, they nixed it after a few weeks because the cruiserweights complained it hindered their moveset.

I was never a fan. However, I think it could work with sporadic appearances.

They still exist in Japan and Mexico.

It just kinda looks cool especially when the cameraman is also on the ramp.

Battle royals always suffered with a ramp though. Maybe a company could use the ramp every now and then if it was somehow integrated into the theme of the show.

I dislike elevated ramps to the ring. They just look very out of place and they take away some of the space outside.

I liked the ramps during special WCW events.
I also liked the elevation of WWF rings in larger venues like Big Event, Wrestlemania III, VI and VIII.

don't like 'em...I preferred it when guys would give high 5's on the way to the ring

Always loved the walkway that was level with the ring. When I would play with my action figures as a little kid, I would stack my Sega Genesis boxes to make an elevated aisleway for my entrances.

I always found it a weird visual, to be honest.

I preferred them to be honest. Specially when WCW had the big WCW block letters off in the distance. Gave a cool big event feel and visual to the events. As seen here with Michael Wallstreet.

Well, if anything, entrance ramps gave us this (and other similar) insane spots.
Off-topic, but does anyone know if you can do moves off the ramp in FirePro Returns? I don't know if I ever even attempted it.

If I recall, they nixed it after a few weeks because the cruiserweights complained it hindered their moveset. I doubt that's true considering most of the cruisers wrestled for CMLL at some point and CMLL always uses the elevated ramps. Not to mention that the CMLL guys do some insane, creative moves into and out of the ring thanks to this ramp.

ECW used one for Hardcore Heaven 00 and I cringe every time I see Anton push RVD off the top turnbuckle to the outside.

I like the ramps. The Spring Stampede ('93 or '94) match with Cactus Jack/Max Payne vs The Nasty Boys made good use of it.

The bump Cactus takes off the ramp onto the floor towards the end of that match is brutal. It just kind of happens in the background of the shot and hardly anyone notices, but it's a rough bump.
