Will WWE ever do this? Rock/Cena was announced a year in advance, its not too out there someone holds on until the next MITB and cashes in.
Although, the logic of it on the guy cashing in won't quite make sense. The 'wait a whole year' made alot more sense when you won it at Mania because you can cash in a title shot and get a Wrestlemania main event. The MITB PPV is just not the same I suppose.

It's a good question. I think they're all stupid not to come out after the main event of Wrestlemania and cash in their MitB contract if it was the last match. Instant spotlight. Stealing the title at the end of the biggest show of the year...what's the last image of the PPV going to be? You holding the gold. I don't get why someone hasn't strapped that rocket to their back, stolen the ball when it really matters and ran wild with it.

I'd love to see two cash in's at once. One person waits an entire year to cash in...only for the person who just won to cash in as soon as the match started.
They would both lose.

They talked about it with Kennedy and Bryan, but those are the only two who even mentioned waiting until Mania.

I wonder if they actually would've had either of those two cash in at Mania if unforeseen circumstances (Wellness violation, injuries to main eventers) hadn't occurred prior.

Edge waited 9 months to cash in the first time- it's been done before.

"Whole year" no because that would imply cashing it at the Money in the Bank show a year later. If it was WrestleMania still then I'd say it's possible, but because it's not, I'd say it's not likely.
