I sometimes wonder if the entire Matt Hardy/Lita saga could be broken down this way (going from them being revealed as an on-screen couple, to the Kane angle and wedding, to Snitsky's debut, to Edge's wedding, his live sex celebration (with stripping Flair), to La Familia and Chavo winning the ECW Title as part of Edge's renewed feud with Kane).... I'm just not sure where the hell it went after Kane won the ECW title.

Okay... (EDIT because it could just go further back...)
-John Morrison changes his name, wins ECW Championship. -Morrison proceeds to lose his title to CM Punk. This marks Punk's first World Title win, and the end of Morrison's only World Title run. -Morrison starts feuding with The Miz. The two eventually win the tag titles together, soon putting aside their differences and becoming a good tag unit. -John Morrison and The Miz split up following the 2009 Draft. The Miz turns on Morrison- Miz goes to Raw, Morrison goes to Smackdown. -The Miz wins US Title, Morrison wins IC Title. -The two have a very public rivalry over "which one is the Marty Jannetty" of the team, peaking in match at Bragging Rights 2009. -The Miz wins this match. -The Miz goes on to team up with Big Show, winning the Unified Tag Team Titles. -John Morrison then forms a tag team with R-Truth in an attempt to get the titles. -The Miz continues upward momentum, eventually winning the Money in the Bank briefcase. Miz successfully cashes in, wins WWE Championship. -Morrison fails to unseat Miz. -Morrison eventually goes to ring and make jokes on R-Truth to get him to put title shot up for grabs. -Morrison wins Title Shot. R-Truth snaps and attacks Morrison, then goes crazy. -John Cena beats Miz and Morrison, then R-Truth vaults Miz for his title rematch. -CM Punk, after years of having World Title success but never making a true Leap to top guy, detonates his first Pipebomb, then starts becoming titleholder and making his way to the top. -R-Truth proceeds to convince Miz that there's a conspiracy keeping Miz from making his way to the top. Awesome Truth forms. -Awesome Truth get fired from company, later reinstated. -Awesome Truth lose to Cena and The Rock. -The next night, R-Truth turns on The Miz. -The Miz is never close to the WWE or World Championship again. -Shortly after, The Miz injures Morrison, ending his career.
YOU ARE NOW AWARE: John Morrison had his career ended because he, along with R-Truth, WERE the C...O...N...spiracy! keeping The Miz from the WWE Championship- as revenge for getting his own World Title hopes.

Undertaker ran Roberts out. Roberts went to WCW. Roberts faced Sting on a pole match. Russo watched the pole match. Russo went overkill on the pole match. Overkill on the pole match killed WCW. Undertaker killed WCW.

- Hulk Hogan uses his clout to determine who rises to the top in WCW. - A number of disgruntled wrestlers hop ship to WWF, including one Eddie Guerrero. - Eddie Guerrero beats Brock Lesnar for the WWE Title. - Lesnar is then put in a midcard match with Goldberg at WMXX, and the two put on a subpar performance, making Lesnar's eventual exit one on a sour note. - Lesnar distances himself from wrestling and focuses on a successful MMA career. - Lesnar's MMA career brings him newfound stardom, prompting John Laurinaitis to hire him back. - During a one-sided match against John Cena, Lesnar gets cocky and suffers a fluke loss. - A disgruntled Lesnar attacks and injures HHH, then quits. - Laurinaitis, beside himself over losing his new meal ticket, takes his frustration out on Big Show after a harmless joke, firing him. - Big Show eventually gets himself rehired, then turns on the fans out of bitterness.
In conclusion, Hogan stole Big Show's smile.

I thought of one last night that I'm not sure if I should post due to... unfortunate implications regarding Eddie's death.

John Cena is responsible for Big Show's Iron Clad contract, but not in the way you think.
-Cena effectively dismantles the Nexus, leading Punk to take it over from Barrett. -With Punk's interference, Otunga/McGillicutty win the tag belts, leading to Big Show and Kane being in angry moods. -Their anger leads to an incident with Alberto Del Rio occurs, which as noted before leads to Show's attack on Mark Henry, and Henry's subsequent Hall of Pain. -In the midst of that rampage, Henry injures Kane, putting him out for months. -This enrages and disgusts Kane who changes himself and embraces the hate, returns to target Ryder to hurt Cena. -This targeted campaign leads to Eve turning heel, partially out of disgust towards Zack's supposed weakness. -Eve then betrays Ryder at Wrestlemania, directly leading John Laurinatis gaining power. -During Ace's power trip he fires and then rehires Show with an iron clad contract.
Thanks a lot Cena.
