(If I'm late, feel free to lock and delete. I wasn't sure if we had one of these threads yet.)
Last week...
After defeating the likes of Alberto del Rio, The Miz, Dolph Ziggler, Chris Jericho, Mark Henry, Kane, and Daniel Bryan, CM Punk’s WWE title reign faces perhaps its biggest obstacle in the form of ten-time WWE Champion, John Cena, who cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase in order to earn the opportunity to fight for the title.
Rey Mysterio returned! Almost a year after being taken out by Alberto del Rio, the Master of the 619 is back. What will be Mysterio’s goals? Will he continue to purse Del Rio, the man who injured him? Or will he instead turn his attention to bigger goals - Sheamus’ World Heavyweight Championship?
Chris Jericho has big news. What that is, is anybody’s guess, but he’s promised that when Raw is over, he’ll the be only thing on the fans’ mind.
This week...[/size]
IT’S RAW #1000! The big day is finally here! Join all your favorite superstars, past and present, as we celebrate the best of one thousand episodes of Raw. John Cena, CM Punk, Sheamus, Rey Mysterio, Chris Jericho, The Rock, Brock Lesnar, D-Generation X, and perhaps even The Undertaker, “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, Bret Hart, and Hall of Fame announcer, Jim Ross, will be there! Don’t miss it!
Brock Lesnar will finally give an answer to Triple H’s challenge for a match at SummerSlam. Will he accept, will we see violence? Also - ARE YOU READY? That’s right! Don’t miss the return of Shawn Michaels as he and Triple H (and possibly some other former DX members) reunite D-Generation X one more time!
John Cena vs. CM Punk. In what’s sure to be one of the best matches of the year, these two will once again lock horns over the prestigious WWE Championship. Will the 1000th episode of Raw end with CM Punk once again standing tall? Or will “The Champ” once again be here?
The Rock returns! And he’s still got his sights set on the WWE Championship. What will the “Great One” have to say about his title plans, and will he once again come face-to-face with John Cena? Or will a new opponent in the current WWE Champion, CM Punk, challenge him this time? And how will the Brahma Bull factor into the WWE title match?
Daniel Bryan and AJ are getting married live. And we all know what that means, shenanigans! But who will crash the wedding? Kane? Miz? Eve? Who knows? But there’s never been a WWE wedding without something big going down, and I doubt this will be the first. I can’t wait for it. Can you?
From Vader to Psycho Sid to Rikishi, Heath Slater’s been calling out legends on the road to this historic show, and it’s impossible that he doesn’t make an appearance tonight? But which legend will kick Slater’s ass this time? Will it be the Texas Rattlesnake, “Stone Cold” Steve Austin? The legendary Phenom, The Undertaker?
And that’s not even all of it. Dolph Ziggler will most likely have more things to say regarding his Money in the Bank briefcase. Chris Jericho still has big news. The World Heavyweight Champion, Sheamus, his former challenger, Alberto del Rio, Rey Mysterio, and Big Show will be there. Christian will also defend the Intercontinental Championship against a mystery opponent. And Raw is three hours.
You don’t want to miss this.
