...Seems to be the new awesome thing in the WWE. I can't help but feel that part of the new worked-shoot era is taunting the smarter fans with that knowledge, because there's been so many examples of smark-baiting lately or going against what would make more sense that it's got to be intentional.
Too many examples off the top of my head, but one that comes to mind is Hawkins, Reks et all coming out against Kane and talking about how they're misused or underused, only to be used as fodder for the Brothers of Destruction. Or really any time a lower-card wrestler is sent out and told to complain about their position on the card. The morale always seems to be A. "The complainer is always wrong" and B. "You should accept your lot in life and shut up", almost like enforcing a caste system among the roster.
I know there's been other blatant examples of the WWE bringing up stuff we as fans (not just the IWC, but older fans in general) tend to complain about, and then completely ignoring it or doing the opposite of what the seeming solution would be. I'd say some more, but I'm still grouchy about tonight's ending anyway.

hye, if the fans booed guys like Taker and Kane destroying the lower carders WWE might change it eventually
