Rather than having Tripple H standing tall after their confrontation, if Brock Lesnar had absolutely murdered Tripple H and done something terrible to Stephanie like F5'ing her in the middle of the ring in front of her husband, this feud would have been much more heated. Brock Lesnar is a monster and should be booked as a monster instead of eating Tripple H’s silly offence and having him win the "fight".
It’s just my opinion, but I believe this would be better booking. What do you guys think?

Brock broke Hunter's arm.
There has to be some give and take, as much as the Internet irrationally believes Lesnar should be dominating Trips every step of the way, there has to be victories on both sides.
It's pretty dull when a feud is completely one sided.

If Brock wins, I guess I'm alright with it. If Triple H wins AGAIN, then I will despise this.

It's pretty dull when a feud is completely one sided. If Brock was part of the regular card, then I would agree, but he's not. Brock Lesnar is a "special draw" that has yet to have a second match since his return to the company. A feud with Brock Lesnar is a special thing, and he should thus be booked as an insane monster that dominates everyone. WWE needs wrestlers like this. Absolute decimators that can be built up over the course of SEVERAL PPV's to then have a legendary match at mania where a face finally goes over them to create an epic moment. Tripple H needs to help Lesnar become this, not use him to feed his own massive ego.

Actually, what I think they should've done was condense Lesnar and the DX reunion into a single segment. Instead of Sandow coming out, Heyman interrupts the reunion, then Stephanie comes out (so it's not just a DX Army reunion, but a McMahon Helmsley-Faction reunion as well). Lesnar comes out and makes a beeline for Triple H, and fights off all five members of DX to a stalemate before retreating.
This allows room for another one or two matches, like having Santino defend the U.S. title, Alex Riley vs. someone like Sandow, Cody, or Swagger (a better option than getting squashed by Brodus) and getting a Horowitz Wins Moment or having Kofi & R-Truth defend the tag titles against Los Conquistadors or the Executioners.

He should have said "Hey HHH, I'm going to eat your children!"

When I heard there was going to be a DX reunion at RAW 1000 I thought Brock was going to destroy HBK as a way of accepting Hunter's challenge.

It's funny how people want Brock to get most/all of the pre-match offense in this feud, yet if that were happening while anyone else were in Triple H's spot, there'd be massive complaints about how 1-sided the storyline was (especially when Brock isn't even 100% on the active roster).

If Brock would've decimated Trips, and maybe even all of DX -- I would be looking forward to their match. As it is, Hunter has already punked him out and gotten revenge for Brock "breaking his arm".
And considering that Cena beat him clean in their match -- Brock's basically been completely neutered. He's nothing but a squeaky little bitch in storyline terms.
So I think it's a foregone conclusion that Hunter will win at Summerslam. Possibly even in a semi-squash. Why bother watching the match?

Um, because it's not a foregone conclusion that HHH will win at all.
It just seems like a lot of peoples idea of great booking is just the people they like winning over and over again.

You didn't answer that... I suppose I used a poor choice of words. Simply put, I don't think Trips should've gotten in any offense, until their match. Brock should be presented as a fearless, almost unstoppable monster, not as just another cowardly heel. That's the main way he'll draw money. Otherwise, he's just another dude. And coming off a run as one of (if not the) biggest PPV draws in UFC history (on shows that dwarf most WWE buyrates), the fact that WWE has reduced him to nothing special is almost sad.

That's fair enough, but they can't have Brock repeatedly smashing Triple H for a month until SummerSlam can they? How are the fans going to get behind a babyface who continually gets his ass kicked? It works for some guys who are natural underdogs, but not Trips. Bear in mind it probably won't be their only physical confrontation any way. At least, I'd hope not.

I thought it was the correct way of doing it since Brock dominated the earlier meeting - HHH was ready for Brock, so if he didn't get the upper-hand here then what hope for SummerSlam? H needed to get the better of him. If HHH had destroyed Lesnar then yes I'd agree, but Lesnar got plenty in, and walked away at the end.
Perhaps a compromise would've been DX making the save when Lesnar was attacking HHH, but then again it would give the impression that he was no match for Lesnar on his own, thus killing a lot of the hype for SummerSlam.
But Brock has to win at SummerSlam. Losing to Cena is one thing, but if he loses his second match as well then the guy's a joke.

This is Tripple H we're talking about here, not Kofi Kingston, the fans will get behind him no matter what, which is why Brock should gain the upper hand as much as possible. They missed out on a golden oppertunity with Stephanie in the ring. Not only could he have beaten the crap out of Tripple H, but with all this "don't talk about my family stuff", how fitting wouldn't it be if he smacked his wife in front of him? To create a dragonslayer, you need a dragon, and that dragon can't be running scared away from the hero. I don't think Tripple H should be the dragonslayer of this story though, but he can help Brock become that fearsome dragon.

Yeah but this is the we-don't-want-to-draw-money era. Next it will be Brock Lesnar stalking Stephanie McMahon, eventually leading to Steph beating Brock Lesnar in a match one on one, while HHH poses and everyone laughs. Maybe Hornswoggle's there.

I'm amazed that people think Brock should get the upper hand 100 percent of the time AND win the match.
All the while, Brock is only feuding with the top 3-4 guys they have. Wake up, thats not happening. No matter how little he works.
Cena gave him more than anyone else and he still won the match. HHH and guys like Taker or Rock aren't showing up for that shit. They'll get theirs in.
