What they really need to do is find a network owned by the same people as USA. That would relieve SD of a LOT of limitations. NBC owns USA, they also own Bravo. Maybe Smackdown can come on after Inside the Actor's Studio? ;D I think they should put it on the NBC channel itself, but I doubt that would happen. And on bravo? Maybe.

Yeesh, no thanks. I'm afraid that Fox is so leniant with what gets on the air, WWE will begin to think of ludicrous ideas that they never would have thought of otherwise! And if negotiations between WWE and UPN go through: To all of the people who've been hopin' and wishin' and prayin' that Smackdown would go off the air and the brand split will end...sorry. It can still end.

Well, I'm personally glad Smackdown is staying on. Smackdown is starting to get some 3s, and I expected them to stay in the 1s.
Smackdown last night was really good, and I think the influx of more wrestling based angles is helping that brand out. That's the way it should be. Raw is based more on storylines, and Smackdown is based more on wrestling. Having Kurt Angle as their champion is also a huge help for that too.

I'd rather them stay on UPN because they don't air any sports nationally that would pre-empt Smackdown. Good point. We'll already have to deal with Raw being pre-empted for a dog show. While I could more easily deal with loosing one episode of Smackdown to a good game, I'd rather not. One other thing, I noticed Andrew said Smackdown was on last night. Is that just a Canada thing, or did I somehow miss a programming change?

I read somewhere (I think on this board) that the original idea for Smackdown was an all-women's wrestling show. Maybe they can do that instead. They can reach their target audience, and the Divas will stay the hell off Raw. On second thought... Nah... nevermind.

It better stay on UPN, I don't have cable right now and UPN is one of the few stations I get. ;D Besides, Smackdown in UPNs #1 rated show, why wouldn't they want more of it?
