Gah... that was hard to watch. I wish Rhett the best, especially since he's a good worker who came up from ROH's school, but he needs to stop forcing his promos. I hope he finds his voice, or at least a tag partner to be the voice. I think a d-bag team of Titus and Bennett would work really well, and help both guys hone their skills. But a part of me hopes for Willie Mack to come to ROH as a surprise. Titus and him as a tag team would be great IMO, but Mack would have to stick around for the long-haul which isn't likely. Both these teams would fit the ANX philosophy.

Rhett's great, and if ROH is smart, they'll use this whole thing to turn him into their next big babyface, the "home grown kid" rising through to the main event.

I definitely think he needs to turn heel unless he doesn't mind getting lost in the shuffle. I just don't think in ring wise, or character wise he's got enough to really stand out from everyone else. That's why I feel so bad for him after the whole King situation. With ANX he had a really good spot and a strong tag partner to help him hide some of his shortcomings in bigger matches. On his own though, I don't think there's much big money in Rhett Titus as he is now, and none of this is his fault which really kills me.

Yeah, I wish that he went the opposite direction with this situation, and turned. A bitter Titus would definitely have potential. Think of all the "fresh" faces in ROH that he could beat down, and say that he's been here longer, earned his spot, and had his hand on the gold, only to have it taken away by his a-hole, ex-partner. Bennett and him would make a great team for this, and a tag title run would be good for both of them. If he singled then have him feud with Adam Cole.

I could barely watch a minute before I tapped out. When I could hear Rhett, his promo style totally made me tune out. I like the guy, but he is not the most natural talker. What was his general statement about Kenny King?

It's cool, we still support each other. Wish we could've had an epic tag title run.

What was his general statement about Kenny King? Basically it came down to "Kenny King is a grown man and made a big boy decision, doing what's best for him". That video was a struggle. I really like Rhett Titus as a worker but holy shit was that video poor.

If he weren't tied up with DGUSA, I think Larry Dallas would be the perfect mouthpiece for Titus.

The odd thing is what he was saying about King was respectful, adult, and positive. Yet just like everything else in this video he comes off as a complete arsehole.
I can understand people being nervous in front of cameras when speaking & putting on an over the top arrogant posture to try to hide it but this isn't a guy I can get behind as a face, and I say that as someone who felt pretty damned bad about him being left in no man's land by the Kenny King situation.
Spauldo's idea a few posts up sounds better than shining beacon of hope babyface to me given he doesn't wrestle, look, sound or come across in anyway like a truly likeable guy.

That was brutal to watch, but I wish him well. I've liked Rhett since his ROH pre-show days, fighting for the Top of the Class trophy.

wow, that "TV show" made that cartoon that Hawkins and Reks made look like emmy award-winning stuff.
That said, I'm glad he's taking the high road in this situation.
