Obviously this year has been pretty good, but i though that they had a pretty strong product in 04-06 as well. Worst years have to be 2007-8 with those horrible gimmicks like black reign, rellik, judas messias, super eric, stone cold shark boy, etc. Only thing notable from that time period was the formation of beer money and awesome kong.

I can't think of a single good thing from 2010.

I can't think of a single good thing from 2010. Yeah, my original thought was year 1 but then 2010 came to mind. Really 2011 wasn't much better either. 2012 and 2009 are up there as some of the good though, IMO.

2004-2006 were pretty darn good, IMO.
In 2004, you had Chris Harris make a decent singles run while Storm was hurt, looking like a future star (which sounds crazy in retrospect), XXX, AMW, Naturals, AJ, Monty Brown, X Cup, Team Canada...etc. Jarrett holding onto the World title too long was REALLY annoying, but even then, he had some really good matches. I really liked the latter part of the Nashville era. Seemed like they were onto something big getting on FSN.
As soon as they got Impact on FSN, it got a little boring for a while, and they'd brought in bigger dudes like Jeff Hardy, Scott Hall, Billy Gunn, Nash, DDP, etc., and it started to get away from them...though those most of the roster was young and really talented.
By the time Joe arrived (mid-2005 or so?), and D'Amore had the book, it was freaking rad. All downhill when they got Russo in late-2006, who wasn't clueless to the kinds of guys TNA fans wanted to see (X Division, Joe, etc.), but his execution was terrible.
It's possibly better now than it's ever been though. All the big moves, X-Division-style and stuff from the early days were what got me into it...but that wears thin after you see a lot of it (at least to me). The wrestling might be better top-to-bottom now.

From Joe's arrival to Angle's arrival, the company was on fire. That's always what I'll remember TNA for being.
This year is coming VEEERY close to matching it. We'll see where we are around BFG time.
Worst is probably 2010. Just mind-numbingly bad. I'm amazed the company made it through the year.

I don't know. 2010 is a good choice for worst year but I remember 2007 being complete ass for the most part.

For best I'd have to go with around 2006.
As for worst, my first thought was 2007, but then I recovered 2010 from the darkest depths of my subconscious.

How dare you speak ill of Stone Cold Shark Boy! Just the puns alone were gold, not to mention his awesome impersonation.
I'd say 2005 was their best year, at least until Samoa Joe came and ruined the X-Division's reputation for several years.

I can't think of a single good thing from 2010. Angle/Anderson, Beer Money/Machine Guns, Douglas Williams The Finest Thing in Life, Pope up until his injury at Lockdown, birth of Bully Ray, Double J: MMA Enthusiast, the Lethal/Flair promo, Madison Rayne's transformation into the Queen Bee, London Brawling's short run, etc. There was lots of good stuff actually, it just got lost in all of the crap, which there was much more of.

Best Years:
04-06, 2012 (so far)
Worst Years:
2010 (the worst) and 2007
The last 4/5 months of 2009 were great too so I'd like to throw in a word for those. '09 was very much a mixed bag though. Genesis '09 pretty much sums TNA's year up.

I started watching TNA on 2005. 2005 and 2006 were incredible.

what sucked most about 2010 was TNA was REALLY catching fire at the end of 2009 after the MEM storyline with Abyss, Angle, Desmond Wolfe, AJ, EY, The British Invasion, and Daniels all being pretty hot at the time. Then, when Hogan and Bischoff came in they REALLY shifted storylines around, booked a lot of Hogan's buddies/guys who did the Hulkamania tour, and made Abyss into a sissy version of Hulk Hogan.

Hogan came along, things looked good, things went to shit....
TNA has recovered and right now it's the most watchable wrestling show there is, despite AJ/Claire Lynch f***SHIT!

The best year, so far, being 2006 with 2009 being a close second imo.

I haven't watched TNA consistently over the years. With that said, I'd venture to say that the year when Angle joined TNA was the best, and the year when Pac Man Jones was getting air time in TNA was the worst. I'm not sure what the years are.
People speak ill of 2010, but didn't RVD and Jerry Lynn have at least one stellar match against each other during that year?

People speak ill of 2010, but didn't RVD and Jerry Lynn have at least one stellar match against each other during that year? They wrestled twice in 2011 if I remember correctly. I think their match in 2010 got cancelled. Not that it makes much difference anyway, there were plenty of great matches in 2011, but overall the product was not good. Same with 2010.

I loved Stone Cold Shark Boy....
But yeah, I gotta go with '09 and this year being my favorites. Only started watching wrestling again in late '07, so I can't really say anything for the earlier years. Everything else runs together.
