It seems like half the people Cody Rhodes has feuded with have pointed out how much success Dusty had in spite of his appearance. On the flip side, Cody seems to get much better physically as he gains more success. I remember when he looked like someone chose the lowest width setting on CAW and now he's got an amazing body.

Heidenreich. The fact he had no pecs really bugged me.

on the flip side of the argument, Spike Dudley. Well if we're going height , it's undeniably Rey Mysterio. The guys one the royal rumble , The WWE and World Heavyweight title despite being shorter then Manny Pacquio by four inches. I think the Spike comment was less height and always just how rail-skinny he looked. Granted, Rey was skinny in his youth but proportionately so; Spike looked like a junkie.

What about our first IC Champ, Pat Patterson?

I don't think Pat Patterson ever had a particularly bad physique, his was pretty typical of wrestlers from that era.
I think Mabel/Viscera/Big Daddy V is a good call. During his big push on ECW those manboobs were positively Abdullah-esque and his ring gear really didn't flatter him. Also, how about Road Dogg? The guy was pretty over at one time in the late 1990s and got a decent push, but looked as if he'd never even driven past a gym let alone set foot in one.

He had A LOT of triple beef that year! Surprisingly, when HHH was in his 'worst' shape, he was actually pretty good in the ring. 2002-2003 saw him in tremendous condition, yet great matches were very few and far inbetween.

Even if you go back to his time in WCW as Brian Armstrong, such as this match between him and HHH, www.youtube.com/watch?v=F1fWo1BFfnYwhen he was wrestling in trunks, he wasn't that impressive. That reminds me, did Mick Foley EVER wrestle without a top? Ever? I seem to recall even in his jobber days he had a singlet top.

Randy Orton's physique got worse as his career got more successful. Disagree. He is more defined and a lot more leaner and don't get me on his amazing thighs. He looked pretty puffy, bloated during his early years and one point had a roid gut. Edge never had the traditional physique. He just happened to be pretty tall and that's about it. Randy's "skin" got worse. He looks like he got basted and marinated in orange duck sauce.

The white stripe on top of Armstrong's tights makes them look like underwear, lol.

Dusty. It has to be Dusty. The man was a human lump of unmolded Crisco.

Dusty. It has to be Dusty. The man was a human lump of unmolded Crisco. At a time, Dusty Rhodes looked pretty fit, and that means he didn't have much of a spare tire. Admittingly, when Ric Flair started his career, he was nearly 300 pounds.

Foley by far. He looked like a hobo. Sometimes still does.

Although not WWE, I feel like Giant Haystacks warrants a mention. Huge dude that wasn't very mobile in the ring.

Also, anyone have any pics of skinny Foley (past jobber status, though -- he was pretty small then) or skinny Duthty?

Dusty Rhodes immediately comes to mind. as RD Reynolds put it once, there's no reason a fat, blotchy man with both a thick twang AND a lisp should have ever gotten over to that degree, but somehow he did.
