I mean, tights, trunks, etc, before the material wears out or whatever. Each wrestler seems to be different as to how long they hold onto a particular piece of gear in their rotation before it goes away, but for guys like Jericho who have more distinct designs rather than just differently-colored designs it's more noticeable. I mainly say this because it seems like this particular pair of Jericho's trunks and kickpads... ...just will not go away. They were his primary outfit in SvR 2011, WWE All-Stars, and look to be his outfit in WWE '13. He's had them since 2009, and compared to his other gear it seems like either this pair is really, really durable or he just keeps getting the same purple variant re-made by the costuming department. I know since he's returned he's mixed it up with the silver, red, and Wrestlemania variants, but it still seems like more often than not he's wearing that, and I'm really getting sick of it.

I'd imagine boots would last a while. kickpads and trunks would vary on the material but I guess they'd get a lot of use before needing to be replaced.

I hear trunks don't last very long if you wrestle Zack Ryder.

I've heard Taker say he keeps his gear until it completely wears out, because he's a little superstitious about it.

I used to think that Austin wore the same pair of black trunks always, looking back on it, ew.

Vader was the same, he never washed his gear because of superstition.
A number of wrestlers seem to use the same pair of boots forever, though.

I imagine leather stuff (Like DB's and ADR's current trunks) prbably lasts quite a while.

My question. Does anyone think Bret Hart and Sting kept their Sgt. Pepper's entrance jackets? I can imagine going in Bret's closet.
Shirt....shirt...jorts...shirt...jorts...jorts...leather general jacket....jorts...

Vader was the same, he never washed his gear because of superstition. That and he used his B.O. to psychologically break down his opponents from what I've heard.

depends on what you wear and how often you wrestle. I've seen those pleather pants that Test used to wear split after one match. I also know a guy who wore the same tights for 6 years. they just got a little faded from wash.

I used to think that Austin wore the same pair of black trunks always, looking back on it, ew. That reminds me of how Stan Hansen said that Jumbo Tsuruta never washed his gear, and guys always ribbed him for it.
