I should have expected as much from this message board. It's been answered here before, search through the thread. It's also literally the first search result if you google the obvious phrase. I would've told you how if you weren't throwing a hissy fit over people not answering your question fast enough when it's been answered before here and can be found with a few seconds of thought and effort.

I just got and started fiddling with TEW 2013. Playing as WWE I was reviewing my roster and then realized that these pushes I was checking would change after I went to fiddle with the product settings later. So I went and made some changes, changes that I thought were fairly minor. The game warned me that changing the product would effect my popularity but I thought it would be a minor change, or more likely (since this would be more realistic) it might change after my first show.
Boy was I wrong. My popularity PLUMMETED to the C+s at best and I'm down to national level. I'm basically starting from scratch with the top company in the world. Should be fuuuun.

Yep. Try to save that sinking ship. Actually, that may not be that hard. I started outlining my own turnaround ideas after watching Guest Booker with Jerry Jarrett. I disagreed with the people involved, but the principals were good. The approach I took was to start at the infamous reboot on April 10, 2000. Kept all the champions that currently had belts. What I thought would help is taking things back to wrestling fundamentals. At this point, you had to re-establish your top guys/champions. You spend some time re-building the title's value and the guys holding it and reminding everyone that everyone is here to become champion. I had DDP and Sid work for a couple months to establish Sid as World Champion. As I was doing that, I had Vampiro set out on a mission to destroy WCW and all their heroes. Started by having him go over Hogan. Then he took the belt off of Sid. He moved into a program with Sting and went over. Had him go out and do a promo in the vein of he's taken out the best WCW has to offer (the biggest of all time in Hogan, your champion Sid, and the franchise of WCW in Sting) and no one wants to face him. He asks "who's next?" and then the returning from injury Goldberg takes the title off of him after running through his lackeys (Jindrak and O'Haire). I had this amazing mental image of his music hitting and the place going f***ing bananas. He takes Jindrak and O'Haire out with one spear and Vampiro powders. Nitro ending with him looking scared shitless with a roaring crowd would be amazing. This took me through the end of 2000 for the world title, with Goldberg set to take at least the first half of 2001 to mow down the roster and keep building the title back up. Flair, Sting, Hogan, DDP, Jarrett and loads more as options for opponents. There's an entire undercard to consider making that next step with as well. Among other things, I also had a mentor angle idea with Terry Funk and AJ Styles that would've evolved into a torch passing and eventually unseating Jeff Jarrett for the US title. AJ would constantly lose matches by doing one high spot too many. Funk would've taken him under his wing to have him tone it down and not become the "broken down old guy like he is". Then once AJ started winning and getting over, Funk would've turned heel on him. They go back and forth with AJ winning a bloody blow off. That'd have him established enough to challenge Jarrett who's been building up the US Title during this entire time. Tons of new matches for AJ Styles at this point in time. It's all about keeping a lot of moving pieces going in the right direction. You have to build and go the complete opposite way that they did with random guys fighting each other for no reason and worthless titles. As you're feuding two guys, you have to know where the next step takes you and build that guy up at the same time. Easy to draw money and really get guys over if you can hit both guys at the peak of the build and one of them is white hot off of a successful program.

Fffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff WWE just dropped in size. It's not actually dying or anything. I know but the penalities for that are actually pretty crippling! Six months I can't rise back to national level, and I can't gain popularity at ALL for the next couple weeks, so I'm basically just keeping the ship afloat.

People are too resistant to signing developmental deals. The only remotely well known male indy name (women almost always are willing to sign development) that has agreed to got to NXT first is ACH. Incredibly annoying because I feel like I SHOULD be able to keep people down in development until I have room for them creatively. But instead I'm stuck with a bloated roster because everyone wants to be signed directly to the main card plus half the guys already in NXT demanded to be called up. And on top of that were already "annoyed" morale wise because they were in development. This is the main annoyance I've had with TEW2013 so far. ESPECIALLY with the option to make your own development territory, it feels like there's no point to that now.
Didnt I see someone with like three Dev territories full of people??? Is there like an option that I can't find that I can turn off or do you just ignore their mood or what?
Really annoying though, putting people in development and signing a bunch of people to dev contracts was pretty core to how I played. Now guys as small time as fricking MATT SYDAL (who I was only signing to bring up Evan Bourne's morale anyway...) demand to be brought straight to the main roster. Really dumb...

So as an experiment I copied my save file and then left to start my own company just to see what would happen to the WWE in my absence and first of all AND THEN WWE and Juggalo Championship Wrestling are at war.

To be honest I've only played a couple of test runs in 2013 so far, planning on starting my first real game tonight, but it didn't look to me like there were any problems with that. For example, in the WWF 1996 mod I tested, I signed Chris Jericho and Bam Bam Bigelow to written deals, sent them both to development and neither of them complained or had any morale problems. I don't know how it would pan out long term but it didn't look like it'd be an issue.

Thats what my guys say when I try to put them there. ((Plus like I said a bunch of guys (Bo Dallas, Paige, Generico, ect) demanded to be pulled from development and when I brought them out they already had "annoyed" as a status because of being "stuck in developmental". I think I'm going to try ignoring their demands and putting people in development whether they like it or not for awhile since my roster is just far too bloated how it is.

Eddie Guerrero said I might want to rethink my decision because he wasn't likely to improve any more, but his morale was still "pleased" when I recalled him a few weeks later. Like I said, I don't know how it would work long term but it sounds a bit more risky judging from your game than I thought.

If people start getting annoyed, hand out bonuses like they were candy on Halloween. You should still have the resources to do that.

I considered that but I always worried that handing out bonuses would have bad side effects in that maybe the rest of my roster would get annoyed at me giving out bonuses to people like that, if its as easy as just giving bonuses because the WWE is rich and its easy then yeah, that would work.

Admittedly, I didn't play TEW 13 that much but from my experiences, people don't care who you give bonuses to. If you got the resources, bonuses are your best friend.
