John Cena is over as a face because if he weren't the entire crowd wouln't have been behind him cheering. He is going to bat for his soldiers that really ride with him, and aren't just pretending to defend him or pretend to be a fan because it's the "cool" thing to do.
Every single segment he has done has great and powerful signifigance and is meaningful to his soldiers. He knows how it is for his troops on the front lines fighting uphill. John's segment and promo/skits tonight were well-done,clever, entertaining and inspirationally motivational.
Tonight was a morale boost just especially for his soldiers.
John Cena is deserving of the WWE Title and respects it. He is completely over as a face and is respected, loved and honored by his soldiers.
THANK YOU SO MUCH JOHN CENA!!YOU RULE AND ARE THE GREATEST WWE CHAMPION!! JOHN YOU ARE VERY, VERY MUCH APPRECIATED!! JOHN CENA YOU ARE AN ANGELIC BLESSING AND ARE WONDERFUL!! THANK YOU!!
JOHN CENA YOU ARE DAMNED GOOD AND YOU OWN!!
CENA IS #1 AND THE ABSOLUTE BEST!!!
IN CENA I TRUST!!

There was an audible amount of boos when he entered. Triple H gets some cheers when he makes his entrance too, does that mean he is over as a face? And, on a side note, please find something else to do. Trolling seems to be your hobby. Look at it this way, I like Jeff Jarrett. Not everybody else likes Jeff Jarrett. I don't go into threads going on crazy rants defending Jarrett as if he were my home country or something. Accept that not everyone likes Cena the way you do & that Cena is not the greatest wrestler of all-time. You'll find people will be a lot more tolerant of you 'round here if you do.

YES! YES! YES!!!
One of my biggest markout moments ever!
I was so pissed when Angle and Kane got eliminated. I was smelling an HBK ego trip, but instead it was just a setup for a rare episode of good booking.
Somebody had to put an end to Cena's reign, and I'm exstatic it was Edge. Fresh blood into a stale main event scene.
I don't really care if some feel Edge doesn't deserve the belt, I'm happy for him. Sure, he's not the best in WWE, not even on RAW, but he can provide good matches in every environment, with every kind of opponent.
Let's see what WWE have in store for Edge before tearing him apart...
Me, I've been waiting for this moment since Taboo Tuesday 2004, so I'm enjoying every second of it.

John Cena is getting loud cheers because he deserves a LOT of support of the crowd. He is deserving of the WWE title, since he is a true champion.

Edge rules. He's no Jesus, he's not even my hero, Serj Tankian, but damn does Edge rule.
Dethroning Cena in two minutes certainly helped Edge to rule more than he did before, but someone had to do it, and Edge was clearly the guy to do it in this particular fashion.

I'm going to jump on the Edgewagon here. I've actually been thinking, between the Trish-Mickie story and the Edge title win, that New Year's Revolution was pretty enjoyable (if full of crap- the Lawler match, the Viscera match) and I can't wait to see what happens next. Who'd've thought? Compelling storylines.
I've reviewed NYR on my forum (link below), I'll post it here at some point.

John Cena's still champion even though he's not actually carrying the WWE title.
Also, the real reason New Year's Revolution sucked and wasn't enjoyable is, John Cena and other wrestlers got injured. Had that not happened,it would have been a great PPV.

Did Cena get injured? I never heard that. And no he's not still champion. Edge needs to go all the way and get rid of that stupid spinner belt.

Hi and hello. This is my very first post to the WC board, so I'm a little nervous. I guess my topic falls under NYR threads. I'm a little nervous, but here goes...
After Lawler beat Helms... did anyone notice that those things around Lawler's wrist (sorry, I do not know the term) actually had the Superman logo on it?

Hi and Hello to you deathwish321! I'm ko23. It's okay...don't worrry about it. You're cool. Everyone gets nervous about posting sometimes. Especially me. You asked about what the things around Lawler's wrists were with the Superman logo on it...I didn't watch the match but I would assume it would be wristbands you're talking about. Or some kind of bracelet to wear.
Yeah, John got busted open but that was f 'ing wrong to have happen and stupid for Masters,Carlito and Edge to go along with hurting him. Weakass motherf'ers!

Didn't notice it, but I assume it would be Lawler the character having a rib at Helms the character if so.
However, I believe that it's probably the Lawler crown logo on his wrists.

John Cena said those who ride with him through good and bad are the ones who he is going to back up. Not just backing him when it's easy and when everyone else is. He meant when you've got doubts and don't know what to do.
John Cena... he is a winner and a champion. Does he have what it takes to defeat the odds against him? YES!
He deserves to be in the main event and is a good wrestler. He's capable and strong. Able to outlast adversity. He is also someone who isn't a quitter because he could have given up during the "I Quit" match with JBL but he didn't. He could have quit in the Elimination chamber match but he didn't. He could have decided to back down from the opponents he faced at NYR but he didn't do that. Instead, despite his own feelings about the match he went and got the job done. Did he kick out of both spears by Edge? He did. He didn't give up or flunk. He is capable and deserving.

Honestly, even if John Cena had the best wrestling match in the history of the world and mailed me $10000 and recorded the best music album of all time, because of you I'd STILL not want to admit being a fan of his.
