Did we have to let them detonate three-quarters of the ship?

I CAN'T DEAL WITH THAT NOW!!!!!! Ultra Magnus doesn't get nearly enough hate for that. Its like for all he knows Hot Rod and Kup were dead. I understand wanting to save the majority of the bots/people in the ship at the moment. However after they make it out safe its like he barely gives it a second thought.

It's almost like the Matrix made him DUMBER. He seems pretty capable during the Battle of Autobot City, and he's fine on the show, but when he was in charge, good lord was he dumb as a brick.

I just look at Magnus as a great soldier, he'll follow orders and make the best possible outcome, but he can't lead. Some people just can't. Like Eddie Guerrero, amazing wrestler, but being champion got to him and he started cracking under the pressure.
