The don't get it wet rule makes no sense either. What happens if it sweats, or drools on itself or something? That's something that bothered me in the original film. Stripe and the gang are walking, running, and even hiding in SNOW. Isn't that just frozen water? Why weren't they constantly multiplying? how do you know they didnt?

Yeah, that always kind of bugged me too. And for the whole thing about the water rule, what about other liquids? Do they multiply if they get beer, ice tea, orange juice, etc gets dumped on them?

Why weren't they constantly multiplying? how do you know they didnt? Because they weren't all howling in pain with giant bumps growing on their backs?

I'm sure Gizmo has something in his glands that helps his sweat from reproducing those Gremlins. I'd like to see a movie on the origin of Gizmo that leads into part 1.
Any talk of a reboot to the series or a part 3?

Interestingly on a somewhat related note... Our local park has signs everywhere that it closes at 10pm. No tresspassing after 10pm, etc. Well I took up running and don't sleep much. So I wanted to run in the summer without getting sunburnt. So I asked what time it opened. The only answer I got was that it's always open except after 10pm. From people who worked at the park to the cops. Nobody answered what time I could start running there. Midnight? 2 am 5am. Screw it! I just stuck to the streets.

But midnight has also not yet occurred. Yes it has, always No it hasn't. Time is something that always moves forward, so logic would indicate that midnight would o toward midnight on the clock, not go back.

That is why the park I work at says 10pm close, sunrise open.
