We're about 5 months away from the Royal Rumble and I'm curious as to who people think at this point in time will win the Royal Rumble.
I personally expect it either to be John Cena or someone on SmackDown but I'm not sure right now.

If Punk loses the belt to Cena at Summerslam, he wins the Rumble.
If he doesn't and loses to Rock at Rumble, Cena wins the Rumble match.

If they're really going to load WM29 with dream matches, I'd rather a midcarder win the Royal Rumble and get the title match than an already established main eventer. Rock/Brock/Taker etc. can sell Mania by itself, so they have a cushion to push someone else towards the title.
So I voted for Cody Rhodes.

Probably some mid to upper midcard guy that they want to put in the opening match for the World Heavyweight title and pretend it matters on a card that could include any number of guys named John Cena, The Rock, Undertaker, CM Punk, Brock Lesnar, Triple H, and maybe Stone Cold Steve Austin.
So I say Wade Barrett.

I am going with Punk to lose the title to Rock and then win the Rumble because...well...I dunno.

Worst case scenario: John Cena. Best case scenario: Daniel Bryan.

Worst case scenario: John Cena. Best case scenario: Daniel Bryan. I kind of agree. I don't see them giving it to Bryan, but that would be my personal pick. Cena doesn't need it, but it would be a logical way to set up Rock and Cena II if that's what WWE wants to do. I don't know why I didn't think of this before, but if Rock wins the title at Rumble, then you would think he would defend it in an Elimiantion Chamber, but they can always change tradition.

My first choice is John Cena, although I have this weird feeling that Ryback has a chance of winning as well and facing whoever the World Champion is at WrestleMania. Pretty much making the card:
John Cena vs. The Rock The Undertaker vs. Brock Lesnar Sheamus vs. CM Punk Ryback vs. WHC

I hope we get Punk vs The Rock at Mania so I voted that Punk wins the Rumble. I still don't think WWE will put the strap on a guy working part time but we will see. I think the promo battles could still be epic even if they were via satellite.

Randy Orton should, after RKOing about half of the wrestlers in the match.

I'd like to see Wade Barrett challenge Sheamus at WrestleMania.

Since it doesn't involve personally defeating anyone and can be won by being sneaky and determined, I think Daniel Bryan's got a real shot. Though he's more likely to be the last guy that gets herp-derped out of the ring by Sheamus, Orton, or Cena.

I could see Bryan being more of a definitive iron man this year, starting early and making it to the final four. They should go crazy and give it to Kofi.

Cena or Punk is my #1 prediction depending on which one is the WWE champion by then. Assuming The Rock is facing either one of them.
Followed by Wade Barrett Followed by Daniel Bryan.
