So, I see the PWI Almanac is still around. I got this thing when I was a kid a few years in a row in the mid 90's and I loved it. It's the only reason I knew anything about any other promotions besides the WWF until the nWo invasion occurred. I know most of the information is easy enough to find on the internet anyways, but I kinda think I wanna get this year's. And I see it's only $5 and some change (like $3.99 for iPad version). I remember them being a bit more expensive, like $8 - $10 at least. So, my question is, is it no longer what it used to be? Is it smaller than the old days or have less info? Is it a waste of money and maybe I should go buy some fast food instead?

I agree, I used to love reading that thing for hours and hours. I don't know what it's like now, but somehow I have the feeling that it would feel disappointing because most of the information is probably easily found on the internet. But $5 is a good price, maybe I'll buy it. (I personally need to stop buying random things though, even if they're cheap)

When I first saw one in the grocery store around 1998, I thought it was the greatest thing ever. After buying it I read through it about a million times. That was the first time I had ever seen title histories.
The thing I hated was when I bought the 2001 edition they did away with some of the title histories that were in the 1998 book that I had. Then when I bought a later one (the 2009 edition, I think) they had completely done away with any defunct title histories, which meant I kept having to keep all the older editions.

Yeah, the older editions had a lot more information. Personally, i was disapointed when later editions dropped the non-ppv supercard results. IMO it was interesting reading those old clash of the champions results.

I bought it a couple of years ago, excited to replace the 1998 edition that I can't find anymore. All of the defunct title histories were gone, and it was just a tremendous disappointment.

Since history was my main reason to want to buy this and for loving the old ones, I think I'll go ahead and pass. Thanks for your input and for saving me a few bucks!
