I get your point, but Punk has already had title feuds with Ziggler and Bryan, and he's faced Mysterio a bunch of times. So basically you are complaining that Punk isn't feuding with one of the tag champs or the World Heavyweight Champion. Not complaining at all. Just saying that there's still freshness in a feud with Ziggler(providing he dumps Vickie), Bryan, Mysterio, Kofi, and Sheamus that could bring in something different for once. I will admit that I wasn't a fan of his previous feuds with Mysterio, which is probably why I'd like to see it done differently now. My point of view is I think some people are getting tired of Cena and from my perspective I've been tired of him for a while. Why do people say Cena and Punk are dynamite together? I just don't get that statement. It's not like Cena's character changes any, nor does his promos, nor does his attitude. He's still the same corny joke cracking wrestler in his feud with Punk. Why does the whole thing hinge on Cena? Punk plays as much of a role in their chemistry as Cena does. I think their personalities clash in a way that feels special. Cena is the clean cut hero and Punk is the rough around the edges villain or anti-hero, depending. They're two sides of the same coin. They're equals that display it in completely different ways and chances are, you're going to respond to one or the other. I think they bring out the best in one another. I think this could be, overall, better than Cena and Edge, and I LOVED Cena and Edge's rivalry.

Punk is such a unique character in himself that I view him as carrying the feuds at times, along with the mic work, and the ring work as well. It's just when I look at Cena his character is jokey, doesn't take anything serious, and even when he loses he just shrugs it off. Perhaps I'd feel differently if they let Cena just be himself and not give him watered down, lame, and corny promos. Had this been say 2000 or 2004 I really think we'd see an awesome back and forth feud with Cena/Punk. Edge/Cena feud was alright. But let's be honest here, Edge was absolutely red hot and was an AMAZING heel.

Edge didn't carry that feud alone. He was awesome, yes, but he needed his opposite to play off of. Sometimes, areas of gray all around are bad. Sometimes, there needs to be black and white for the story to play out right.

Saying Cena is the same "Corny Joker" with Punk is utterly wrong.
Guys like Punk and Rock bring out the "Yeah, I'm the shit" Cena. The one who remembers he's a damn near invincible 12 time World Champion. I like that guy.

Sure, we're praising this now, but in a few months I can predict "I'm sick of this feud" and "new Cena vs. Orton" comments.

There were plenty of people complaining about the Punk/Bryan feud length, and that was only 3 months long. I can't imagine the amount of hate a 5 month Punk/Cena would get.

Honestly I'd rather see the feud go until TLC with Punk defending the title against everyone but Cena just out of spite, then AJ tells him he has no choice but to face Cena at TLC. Punk wins and goes on to face The Rock.

This is a great feud that can define this generation. Punk and Cena bring out the best in each other. Add the occasional wild card like the rock to keep things fresh and moving and it could have legs. I seriously wouldn't mind these two going for the belt all year.

When I think of Cena vs. Punk, I keep picturing a video package of them set to "My Way"; I think that's a good thing. This feud is awesome.

Only reason this sucks is that it means Cena will have the belt sooner rather than later. No way we go through such a long feud without him grabbing the title inbetween.

I hope so. I enjoy long feuds as long as they're kept interesting. Punk and Cena have great chemistry in the ring and, correct me if I'm wrong, but they've only faced off in regular singles matches so far?
Cena vs Punk in ladder, submission, street fight, hell in a cell... they'd all be awesome matches.

For once, these gimmicks PPV's could actually make sense with the feud involved. If they play their cards right, Punk-Cena is a feud that could really warrant a HIAC match come October time. Same with a ladder/TLC match in December. Night of Champions – Regular match with either Cena getting the title or Punk winning via shenanigans. Hell in a Cell – Cena wins inside Hell in a Cell. Survivor Series – Team Punk beats Team Cena. TLC – Punk regains the title in a TLC match and goes on to face Rock. If it goes something like that then I can easily see them going until the end of the year without it getting stale. Plus, the feud would have a "race to the finish line" element to it come November/December with both of them wanting to be champion so they can face Rock at the Rumble. Sure, we're praising this now, but in a few months I can predict "I'm sick of this feud" and "new Cena vs. Orton" comments. That's for sure. There were plenty of people complaining about the Punk/Bryan feud length, and that was only 3 months long. I can't imagine the amount of hate a 5 month Punk/Cena would get. A 3 month feud can feel like an eternity though if the same guy keeps winning (Punk-Bryan this year, Orton-Christian last year). There's no chance of that happening with Punk and Cena if the feud lasts that long.
