Great game, heck it's good enough to stand alongside Mortal Kombat, Streetfighter and Killer Instinct on the SNes in my opion. Plus Cyber Shredder was a lot of fun. Aura Crusher!!

It was okay. I didn't like most of the non turtle characters. I was upset that the inferior Nintendo version had Casey Jones, my favorite turtles character.

This is the only version I havn't played, but as a big fan of the Archie TMNT series, I always thought it was really cool that War and Armaggon (the mutant shark on the cover) were in it.

The thing I didn't like about these games was that each console version was different. I had a Genesis and the one for that one had a concept (storyline-wise) that involved alien clones of the turtles, as well as Casey Jones, April O'Neil, Ray Fillet, and Sisyphus, who was an original character done by Konami. Plus, the boss fights were with Triceraton, Krang's Android, and Karai, who was a really cheap boss.

I've been playing the SNES version a lot lately. Its a good time waster
Karai has got to be the goofiest looking boss in the history of fighting games, her stance is so awkward looking its hilarious. At least Motaro was weird looking in a threatening way.
Oh and Raphael is overpowered, but that's okay with me

I used him in one of the old Blockbuster video game contests where you had to play TMNT Tournament Fighters, Donkey Kong Country and NBA Jam TE. I blew everyone elses TMNT TF score out of the water using Raph. I had one combo I just spammed over and over and I never got touched by the computer. Once. If only NBA Jam TE didn't decide I was banned from ever shooting a 3-pointer...

Loved this game, though my only strategy involved spamming Wingnut's power dive non-stop until either chip damage got me the KO or I could use his ultimate attack.
I also swear up and down that this is the first game that used super moves (though I'm not toooo sure about that).

Lucky she (Karai is a she right?) isn't a default character and you have to put in a code to use her, along with Rat King.
One thing I did like about the game was the music was really intense, and the voice sound effects very memorable (Aura Crusher, Dragon Breath, Rolling Thunder, Chrome Spark and Wing Buster) amongst many.
I'd quote Raphael but half the time I had no idea what he was saying, Jeopardy??

I'd quote Raphael but half the time I had no idea what he was saying, Jeopardy?? He says "Chest Buster" and "Power Drill". Donatello was by far the best character in the SNES version. That staff thrust move deals a crapton of damage to the opponent if you can get all four hits.

Don't think I ever played this. I grew out of my TMNT phase years before I got a SNES.
Will eventually get it though. I have Turtles in Time.

wasn't this the last NES game ever? No, but close to it. Indeed. I think Sunday Funday was the last, but given it is a Bible related game, there is a decent chance it wasn't licensed in the first place.
