Louisville's defense is absolutely ferocious.

I hate to say it, but I have been thoroughly impressed by the Cards today.

Syracuse proved nothing to me by only winning by 1. Are you serious, or is your mind hazed because you wear B1G 10 glasses? How does taking literally the best game a team can throw your way and still finding a way to win prove nothing? How does a team playing without a starter and making the elite 8 prove nothing? This is one of the great coaching jobs of the last 10 years, Boehiem has everyone buying in and it's about damn time people gave this team some f***ing respect. I'm done with this, I'm normally a cool dude but if you continue down this road I'm gonna blow my f***ing top.

I hate to say it, but I have been thoroughly impressed by the Cards today. I'm preparing to meet them in the Final Four, assuming UK gets by the Baylor/X winner. They just have that feel about them right now. I hate to say it, but their season is resembling ours from last year a lot right now. Can't do s*** in conference away from home, finally comes together for the conference tournament, and now is set to take out the #1 seed in the Sweet 16. Bring it on.

I wear B1G 10 glasses because I went to & support Purdue? That's all you talk about, and look how they are doing against the real best in the nation today. You're a big 10 homer and I don't think there's anything wrong at that, but when you take a shot and you're wrong I'm going set the truth straight.

2 things I learned from Syracuse vs. Wisconsin (this is for Bergman):
1. The Orange are deep even without Fab Melo. They are better than some give them credit for- Their only losses, BTW- at Notre Dame (never an easy place for road teams to win) and Cincinnati (who made a boatload of threes). Not like they lost to DePaul.
2. Wisconsin, while a solid program, is like the Pitt Panthers- 1 Elite 8, a history of blown chances.
The Badgers are among a handful of teams on my "If you pick them to reach the Final Four, they will usually end up breaking your heart' list.

Thank you for that Unocol, I realize I'm coming across like a bit of a douche right now, but I feel as if I'm in the right about this, it's time that people give this team some credit. Think about everything this team has been through this year, and they continue to not lay down for anyone. If they win the title, it's the greatest tournament coaching job of all time, all time.

Of course i'm going to talk about the Big 10 teams, I'm about the only one who does. It's like they're forgone conclusions to anyone else in here.
All Wisconsin did was pass the ball, waste time and throw up 3's with barely a inside game and a "Nation's Best" team like Syracuse barely wins the game by 1? No thanks.

Zombie talking about the Big 10 is somewhat of a necessity on here because, well, we need more contributors for college hoops along with what we have.
MGH, Bergman, and myself have carried a big load the college hoops talk on FAN this season.

I'm in no way dissing Syracuse. I'm just saying they won, but in my opinion the win shouldn't have been that close.

Rick Pitino has no fear of the Izzo mystique.

Given the team he had this year and in a winnable region, not to mention he dodged Memphis and Mizzou, this may rank as Izzo's biggest blown chance.

As an Indiana fan, I enjoy watching the rest of the Big Ten fail. But then that enjoyment mostly turns to worry for tomorrow.

Wisconsin shot from three-point range about as well as you could- BUT not enough paint points, Cuse had too many paint points.
You can only go so far on three-point shooting alone. Just ask Missouri.
