Awful game...it's so sad that Rare has become a shell of a shell of it's former self.

something always annoys me about the way this guy does reviews... and yet I always watch them... what does that say about me I think that's the crazy part. For how annoying he can be (and trust me, he can be quite annoying), he actually does give an insightful review most of the times.

I did think he got way too hung up about the cars thing but then again I was never a Banjo Kazooie Fan... nor had I played this game so I admittedly have no grounds on the issue But yeah that start looked terrible... and if the landscapes are as empty as he makes them out to be it does reek of executive meddling.

Man, I'm really starting to enjoy this guy. Yeah, he started off pretty boring, but his delivery now works quite well.

LOVE me some JonTron. Though a lot of people are calling this his best review. I still say that his Starfox Adventures one is his best.
I never have gotten around to playing Nuts and Bolts since I've only owned a 360 for a few months, although I am a big fan of the Banjo games. I wasn't too sure when they announced a third one in general, because I thought Rare was showing signs of slipping near the end of their time at Nintendo.
Banjo Tooie was good but not great for several reasons, the main reason being it was too damn big for it's own good, with no map system of any kind. Some jiggies later on in the game that took an INSANE amount of effort to get. Imagine doing the Zelda OOT trading game for the Biggoron Sword but instead you just got a single heart piece for it. That's what EVERY jiggy turned into near the end of the game. I could go on about the other Rare games coming out at the time not named "Perfect Dark" (they hit a home run with that) but I'll leave it alone.
But like I said, when I heard about "Threeie", I honestly wasn't sure if they'd learned. I would (and hopefully other people would too) prefer the more focused worlds of the first game as opposed to the "bigger" and much more confusing worlds of Tooie. I don't mind them being bigger if you wanna keep certain gimmicks of the game though. And honestly, I wouldn't mind even the ones that involve level-hopping if it wasn't across multiple worlds for ONE jiggy. And for the love of gawd, is a map too much to ask? You don't even need to be complicated with it, a simple unmarked OoT style map that at least let's me see where I've been and where I can get to places I haven't been.
