Interesting, but most likely the team being Ubi Montreal and the game having liberal f-bombs are the culprit, rather than Ubi dissing Ea, way more of an Activision move.

Well it's been confirmed just now by Nintendo themselves. Saves are also transferable as well. And yet Sony & Microsoft decided to not bother with backwards compatibility. That kind of thing can help make a big difference in somebody deciding to buy your system. Nintendo has no problem coming through for the gamer. Sony & Microsoft want to screw them over by locking discs to your specific account, meaning no used games. On the other hand it gives Nintendo an excuse to be lazy, continue Wii development, upscale it to 720p and slap it in a Wii U box. You know they do it. The Wii is just a GameCube with a gimmick controller.

The Wii is much more powerful than the GC (which was also the most powerful of the last gen in many respects) and at least twice as powerful as the original Xbox. Just that developers were so goddamn lazy that they didn't take advantage of its power.

Square-Enix did an unveiling of their newest game engine called Luminous Engine. Supposedly the video they showed of it was in real time, and if it is, holy shit. To say it is meant for the next generation of consoles is an understatement. Here is their tech demo video.

So did that Kingdom Hearts HD rumor lead to anything or was it all a hoax?

So did that Kingdom Hearts HD rumor lead to anything or was it all a hoax? Seems like a hoax for now. However, they did formally announce Dream Drop Distance for the 3DS during the Nintendo presser; that game is due out at the end of next month (July 31).

That was the only thing I was looking forward too at this e3, not alot of stuff has piqued my interest for whatever reason this year. Now if only I could afford a 3DS right now.
