I've become obsessed with this song over the past few days. As esoteric as Ween could be (and often were) especially on their most off-putting album 'The Pod,' I find this song incredibly sweet and genuine.
It's really warm and uniting that, no matter who we are or what we do, we find something universally fulfilling and calming about eating a meal with a loved one at the end of a rough day. With eating being something that unites us all, I think it's just about the most universal topic one could write about.

Pork roll is awesome. It's kind of a thing here in New Jersey. One of my favorite breakfast sandwiches is pork roll, scrambled eggs, and cheddar cheese on a toasted Kaiser roll.

Scrapple > Pork Roll
Living in NY, I have been exposed to pork roll, but only on occasion. When I moved to Delaware for a couple of years, I had my eyes opened to the wonders of scrapple.
Even bacon pales in comparison to the amazing offal and garbage-parts-of-thepig/cow

My experiences were just the opposite. Experienced scrapple when I went to college in Central PA awhile ago and I thought it was disgusting.
