Loved the episode tonight. Just a couple of minor complaints. (warning, contains some slight spoilers regarding the comic) {Spoiler}I thought for sure T-Dog was a goner. It looked like he cut one of the major blood vessels in his forearm, meaning he probably should've bled to death, especially considering how much he was running around, and on top of that was scared s***less at the time, meaning his heart was pumping double time. To make it worse, not too long after he was saved, he was walking around like he was fine, even though he shouldn't have been considering the amount of blood he lost.....
Also, not sure I like them already diving into the concept of herds, seeing how herds didn't show up in the comic until after the penitentiary arc was over. I know, I know, shouldn't be bitching about them not exactly following the comic as they clearly said "f*** that" last season, still, just, I dunno, irked me to see something happen that didn't happen for a loooooong ass time in the comic. Plus, that was a really disappointing "herd" as the herds in the comic were literally thousands of zombies, stretching for miles. So seeing that paltry amount of zombies called a herd made me actually laugh.
I totally saw the ending of the episode coming, though, as whenever I saw the preview ad for the season they show Rick running with a bloodied Carl in his arms, meaning I knew they would keep the "Carl gets shot" bit from the comic, and as soon as I saw the deer, I just had a feeling that they were going to do it in this episode. Like I said, minor complaints. Overall, loved the episode.

Ok, I know it was supposed to be a tense scene... {Spoiler}But I couldn't stop laughing at T-Dog in the opening. Cuts himself all bad, staggers around, gets saved, passes out and has to be dragged and thrown under a body to keep from being killed. He was so useless in that scene it was hilarious.

Reading what you wrote doesn't ruin anything for me,but I thought I should say that.

Decent ep. AMC firing Darabont, axing the writers and slashing the budget big time on this show worries me going forward, though

I just got around to watching season 1 on Netflix, then I watched ep.1 of Season 2 on DVR, and my god, who's idea is it to have commercials every 5 minutes? After watching all the episodes without commercials on Netflix, it probably stood out more than normal, but talk about interrupting the flow of the show, a show like this needs to keep building tension, but it can't with a commercial popping up every few minutes.
I was kinda cool on most of this episode, mostly due to the "we're desperately searching for a little girl, but someone's gotta stop and give a monologue every 2 minutes," however the ending stunned me, but still, on a whole, it seemed like step down from the first season.

I loved the flashback, but since then it has all felt off. It feels like the characters have no consistency. Changing at a whim. Everything feels disjointed because of it.

Decent episode tonight. Makes me really like Daryl even more. The dude's a character created for the show, and yet I'm liking him more than any character they've used from the comic so far.... And once again I have only teeny, tiny complaints about tonight's episode: {Spoiler}Otis is waaaaaay bigger than in the comic, he was nearly rail thin in the comic, not overweight. And from the looks of things, Otis isn't the dumb ass bigot he was in the comic, either.
Also Herschel is much older than what he looked like in the comic. In the comic he looked like a guy in his 50s, in tonight's episode, he looked in his 60s at the earliest.
But yeah, only complaints is how some characters look, that's all.

And we have another cliffhanger this week. Overall, liked it this week. Good development on the doctor and a follow up on T-Dog. {Spoiler} Lori needs to shut the f*** up. Unless her name is Benjamin Linus, no special doctor will fall out of the sky for her.

I don't know why they didn't realize Carl would end up a liability one way or another

It's going to be amusing if that little girl ends up like Daryls brother, vanished and forgotten about.
Unless it dovetails around and they both end up found together.

I hate T-Dog so much. He's been nothing but annoying and I'm pretty sure he gave himself that nickname cuz he has no friends to give him one.
