He totally did it to annoy the hell out of Hogan until Hogan finally relented to give him the match. He knew Hogan wouldn't let him down at BFG because he believed so much in the real Hulk. Corny, but whatever. So Hogan ever apologise for letting Abyss run wild and torture those guys in the back at all? Nope, but you know how TNA is with that sort of thing. All he did was imply that he was on the wrong path. Now that he's 'saved' we're supposed to forget all of that.

So Sting was sort of on the right track when he became The Crow in 96. He just got the series wrong. If Sting had become the Joker instead in 1997, Nick Patrick would have actually counted fast and WCW would still exist. Nah, see, if he became a Batman villain in 1997 it'd have been Mr. Freeze. That'd have been amazing. "Hogan! I'm gonna kick! Your! ICE!" Lol, I wish Glacier would have said stuff like that back in the day. I'm okay with Sting as an authority figure, but I must say it's hard to take him seriously when he's just wearing t-shirts and jeans. I mean, we all know the guy is rich (at least by average people standards) so why can't he wear some nice clothes and look professional?
