With MCMG being injured, Beer Money disbanded and Gen Me released, how long are we gonna be stuck with Mexican America vs. Ink Inc every month? They've always had a good track record with tag teams, I'd hate to see them fall off now.

Aren't Robbie E and Rob Terry a team, or are the just aligned?

Not sure, but I would like to see more legit teams that can go in the ring. Sort of like 2006 or so when we had AMW, LAX, Team 3D and Styles/Daniels in the title hunt with more lower card teams too.

Yeah, last year I was praising TNA for how great tag teams were looking. Now... Jeeeeeez.

One of tna's calling cards was once the tag team div. Usually I try and sort out and explain Bicshoff/Hogan era deals but this one confuses me. Tag wrestling is a way to get young or new guys over and hone their skills for down the road. Also s good tag div can draw a little. Why abandon it?

I've been of the opinion that the division has been lacking for some time now, since about the arrival of Bischoff/Hogan. Yeah the Beer Money vs. MCMG matches were good, but when you have to run the same match 5+ doesn't that seemingly indicate the rest of your tag teams aren't quite up to snuff?

They still have the British Invasion, and Pope & Devon team up sometimes. They should have put Crimson and Amazing Red together instead of not using Red at all. The unused X-division wrestlers like Zema Ion and Tony Nese could also team up.

Last we saw was Devon being grumpy with Pope over his kids and Pope doing a sad face as they walked away.

To be fair, at least they split Beer Money and elevated both to world title contention instead of doing the standard WWE split where both guys end up doing nothing.
Aren't one of the Gunns still injured?

Let's see all the tag teams still together in TNA:
British Invasion: barely seen since losing to makeshift team of Devon and Pope Mexican America: champions for some reason Ink Inc: the apparent next in line for a title run MCMGs: Sabin still injured, Shelley disappeared after a throwaway ladder match for a X title shot Devon and Pope: barely on tv, more than likely breaking up and feuding once TNA remembers they still are employed Beer Money: finished Rob Terry and Robbie E: too busy putting over EY and the latest Jersey Shore guest
Definitely not the peak of the division.

They just need to come up with some more match ups. British Invasion should be given a shot for a good 2 month feud while other teams get built up.

Yea, my point isn't exactly that there aren't many teams because they definitely have more teams than WWE. My point is that there aren't any quality teams since MCMG is inactive and Beer Money is disbanded. Ink Inc is probably the best team right now and...ugh. They're not bad, but they are never going to have a show stealing match. I haven't seen enough of Mexican America to judge them too hard, but I'm not impressed by what I've seen. LAX was so much better, I still can't believe they let Homicide go.
It really wouldn't be too hard for them to pair up some of the lesser used X-Division guys and turn them into a legit tag team. It worked for MCMG.

What are they doing with Kazarian these days? Throw him in a team with Kid Kash. I know Kash is currently involved in the X-Division title scene, but as a singles guy he's not exactly lighting the world on fire. I think they'd work well together.
What about Eric Young? Yea I know he's the TV champion but they've long turned that title into a joke. I think Young and Brian Kendrick would make a good comedy team.
Assuming that Mark Haskins is still employed, team him up with Zema Ion. Let Zema do his male model gimmick, and Haskins seems to already have a character similar to that. They could probably be super entertaining if given some good stuff to work with.
