I'm not going to say that TNA deserves to die over this fiasco (I didn't even say it after Victory Road when, arguably, it would have been true: seriously, you couldn't have sent AJ or Joe out there?), but they deserve to do a 0.6 rating and a 5,000 buyrate for their next show off of this.

Yeah I won't say they deserve to die; but it's EASY to see why they've never really grown in any significant way in years.

I think part of the outrage for people is coming from them ending the show on this. It should have wrapped up with Sting / Hogan. If they would've done that, people would've been even angrier that the match wasn't the main event and that Hogan is putting himself above the world title etc. The only way to book this show in a way to make the fans happy was Sting wins, then Roode wins in the main event. They're too cute for that though.

I posted this on another forum but thought it summed up my feelings rather well:
I've followed TNA/IW whatever you wanna call it for a long time. But I think tonight is the final straw for me. The thing is... it was a great PPV. Aries vs. Kendrick was insane, Full Metal Mayhem was beserk, Anderson/Ray was great, Hogan/Sting worked well as a segment, I enjoyed the JJ/Hardy bit, Joe/Crimson/Morgan wasn't horrible. AJ and Daniels was a bit of a letdown and the KOs match was awful (the latter was to be expected) and the winner of the match was a joke (even if we all knew it was coming). But all they had to do tonight, the one thing that TNA NEEDED to get right tonight was have Bobby Roode walk out with the title. And I know he might win the belt down the line, I know he'll probably get another shot because of the screwy finish but it's not enough for me. This could've been the worst thing ever but having Roode walk out as champ would've given me one thing looking at the lifeless carcass that is TNA today and that's hope. Ironically the only thing I can say following their best PPV of the year (bettering Dest. X) and a great overall show is... I don't think I can put up with TNA's shit anymore. And that saddens me.

I'm really pissed they were too chickenshit or lazy to commit to a real finish to AJ and Daniels. What a waste.

Does anyone really believe that Kurt's injury somehow changed the finish from a Roode win? What kind of sense would that make? If they did change it due to injury, someone should be fired immediately. Seeing as how Kurt's a ticking time bomb when it comes to his health, they should've had even more incentive to have Roode get the title tonight. In the end, even if/when Roode gets the title, it won't mean as much since he didn't get it done in the big spot.

Christ the overreactions in this thread are ridiculous. It could be worse, we could have another Sharmell vs Jenna Morasca match.

Even if they had Angle win, they could have had it be a close, clean win, with Roode looking strong and maybe even have them shake hands afterward. The commentators could have put over that Angle was the better man tonight. It would have sucked, but at least the finish would have been somewhat agreeable.
No, TNA screwed up big time. Even with Roode's botched push, the fans wanted to see him win TONIGHT. Not a month from now, not next year, TONIGHT! This shows me that TNA doesn't care about what the fans want to see. This is why no one takes their theme park attraction seriously as a wrestling organization.
The overall messages TNA gives their fans: Don't get emotionally invested in any new, rising star. They will never win the big one unless they've wrestled for the WWE before. Don't get excited for our big ppv events. We'll make sure the ending is total garbage.

Things like that are ultimately meaningless - while I'm not too outraged myself beyond it being an anticlimax, this is a case where TNA had the chance to potentially make a new star and blew it in the absolute lamest way possible.

I just did a long type-up on why I'm done with this company on another forum. I'd post it here, but I don't feel like: A) getting banned - or B) having it picked apart by people. Long story short, I've reached my limit with the bulls*** way this company is run. They'll never get it. They will never see how horrible they are with things like tonight. Tonight was TNA's shot to prove to me that they could do the right thing. They failed. They failed on the grandest stage their company has to offer.
They do deserve to fizzle out and die. Why? Because that's quite possibly the only way they'll learn how badly they've run this company.

Already posted something similar in the BFG thread, but it needs to be reiterated.
Why the hell did TNA think it was a good idea to have Kurt not only work hurt, but also win at Bound for Glory? What was accomplished by all that? You pretty much killed Roode's momentum dead and Kurt got injured as a result of your ludicrous decision.
I mean if it wasn't for the fact that Kurt was hurt going into this match then I likely would've just blown this off as yet another stupid TNA finish, but the fact that they likely knew about it and still had him retain the belt anyway is just baffling.
And not only that, but Kurt also had those problems with the DUIs to boot. Why would you look the other way on all of that?
Was there really any incentive to having Angle retain at Bound for Glory? Was there really any point to this whole build up if this was their end game? How many people are going to bother with TNA the next time they push somebody this hard and try to convince them to pay to see them become the next big star?
And now they may not even be able to do this rematch that they were hoping for considering that Kurt may have hurt himself even worse during said match. So it just makes the decision even more moronic in hindsight. Heck, why didn't Kurt call an audible and have Roode pin him?
Honestly... this company. I just don't understand them. I simply don't. They get me interested in something for once and then they slap me in the face.
I'm just glad I didn't bother buying the show, but man do I feel bad for the people who did only to be rewarded with... that anticlimax.

I wouldn't mind if Angle retained by having to outwrestle Roode, but it did feel a little weird. Great show otherwise.

Great PPV sans for AJ/Daniels, the Knockouts match and Angle/Roode being rushed and then Angle winning.
Such a shame.

I think there's foul play here. Between Angle's mysterious injury that just appeared 2 days ago, Hogan's match going long, add to what Hogan said yesterday about Roode not being ready...I think there's some shadiness going on.
