I thought Turner had nothing to do with AOL anymore. He doesn't. He was forced out years ago. So then the article is actually complete horseshit. It's talking about how he was at the forefront of an AOL/Panda Energy joint venture in wrestling.

You know, with all the salt in this thread, I could start a margarita bar and make a fortune! at least until Milton requested a no salt, NO SALT, margarita, discovered big grains of salt on it; and burned it to the ground. At the very least, he'd take his traveler's checks to a competing resort.

I would prefer if Turner started something new.

Ok.....So it goes from a possible interest in AOL/Panda merger to ZOMG! TED TURNER IS BUYING TNA?
If I wern't already at my limit of Office Space references i'd have suggested we'd need a "Jump to Conclusions" mat.

Worst. Newz. Ever.
Besides Ted Turner would be better served buying back the Atlanta Braves instead.

I know that Ted was loyal to WCW because it helped TBS become the Superstation, but I'm pretty sure his interest in wrestling has been overblown by most of the wrestling world, mostly due to Vince thinking of himself as an equal to Turner in the business world. Has he ever even commented on wrestling in the last 10 years?

Has he ever even commented on wrestling in the last 10 years? If I remember right, there were rumors of him wanting to get back into TV and wrestling being apart of that but, nothing ever happened.

Ted secretly has Stock in TnA, he just hasn't told Vince yet.
Btw, I'm STILL convinced Vince has a hand in Tna somehow.

I doubt it. When he bought WCW he owned multiple TV networks and could give WCW anytime slot they wanted. All he could be for TNA is a financial backer.

Too bad you used a fake news link that was written as a junior high school project for a journalism class.

It's a lot more believable at this point than the yearly rumor concerning Vince buying out TNA.
