ireport.cnn.com/docs/DOC-683064I would take this with about a 5lb bag of Morton's Salt, because it's an iReport CNN story, it seems more geared to promote the reporting website, they're probably getting worked by someone (hell, even they admit that their initial source is unreliable), and I have seen no other reports about it anywhere, but if this were to happen...imagine the chaos that would result from it.

Looking at their source, it also has an article on how Cena, HHH and Nash would be forming a new nWo, so a truckload of salt would be appropriate.
That said, I'd find it hilarious if Turner did get a stake in them. It'd be like the icing on the cake when it comes to the WCW comparisons.

I thought Turner had nothing to do with AOL anymore.

Yeah probs not...
That said, could you imagine Ted Turner rising from the wrestling grave? I mean, TNA is practically WCW already...

I thought Turner had nothing to do with AOL anymore. He doesn't. He was forced out years ago.

I think this could be a good thing if it is true.

You know, with all the salt in this thread, I could start a margarita bar and make a fortune! ...and put a stranglehold on the salt-cured meats market. He mentions only one source, Bobby Star, who claims to have been with NWA since it merged with WCW (SPOILER ALERT: NWA NEVER merged with WCW),. He also talks about Screenvision being interested in TNA, which is strange because Screenvision is a ad company that provides the slideshow ads you see before movies. Looks like it's just a plug for it's website and podcast.

So if Ted calls Vince and tells him he in the "Sports Entertainment" business, will Vince reply, "well Ted, I'm in the rasslin' business."

How Vince can troll Turner:
1. "That's great, Ted. I'm in the man-on-man homosexual pornography business" 2. Ted decides to quickly change his gameplan before it's too late (history repeats itself, ya know); turns TNA into M4M 3. ? ? ? 4. PROFIT!

If Ted Turner has a stake in TNA, the world will be different.
