I'm becoming more and more interested in the chain wrestling aspect of in-ring work, and I'm wondering who you guys would suggest. I've been watching a ton of Dean Malenko the past few days, but I'm interested in changing it up. Thanks.

Regal hates the term chain wrestling; he prefers to call himself a technician or a grappler.

Remember when the dirt sheets reported that New Jack had that WWE tryout, which entirely consisted of chain wrestling with Val Venis for 10 minutes? I wonder what that was all about.

Any video of this? That's sort of like that rumor that Sandman is honestly a good in-ring wrestler but he's lazy and doesn't care and managed to get over on his gimmick rather than skill.

The rumor that I heard was that they wanted him to chain wrestle with Val Venis for 10 minutes just to prove that he could handle himself in the ring, but he failed miserably.

I saw in one of his interviews that New Jack was actually a trained wrestler yet it is true, he wasn't a great in-ring wrestler.
But would Bret Hart be considered a chain wrestler?

I second everyone Fundertaker listed, with Fujinami added to that.

Regal hates the term chain wrestling; he prefers to call himself a technician or a grappler. Well, he certainly is those things. As I understand the term 'chain wrestling' though, Regal is awesome at it and does it in a unique and realistic fashion.
