Okay, this is old, but I hadn't stumbled across the video clip until now.
Almost puts Flair's flops to shame, and I love the bickering in the comments over how this sort of comedy selling makes wrestling look oh-so-much-faker.

Hilarious. The fact the video ends almost instantly after he falls just makes it that much more funnier.

He really is a great heel. Foul mouthed and weak kneed.

That was awesome! (He seriously needs to start putting his hands up when he gets hit with weapons, though)

That was awesome! (He seriously needs to start putting his hands up when he gets hit with weapons, though) He should, but I don't think Pope is really swinging those lids much. I doubt he's getting harmed. That said, I do think he should block when it comes to other weapons, seeing as how I've seen him take unprotected chairshots in the past.

One of my favorites.
Didn't he also sell a shot from a Minion doll from Despicable Me? Also a fish?

I cant believe that most people disliked the Fish Market Street Fight. That match was so fun.

One of the best in the business when it comes to this stuff. So underappreciated. Put me down for Dudleys mark.

I enjoy it but I think it's not good for the business. When he oversell it's funny and the fans give him sympathy and when you're a heel you should only breed hate. See when a heel has done things that you hate and you want the face to kick his ass, if when the face gets his payback, the heel turns like an overselling buffoon, in turns into a joke when it should be a serious moment. You should enjoy it as a serious thing because the feeling should be of joy that the heel is seriously hurting. He shouldn't be funny.
He can do that as a face, though.

I disagree, the heel is generally supposed to be a loudmouth, pompous ass that needs to be taken down a notch. When the face makes the heel do something completely stupid-looking, he gets some comeuppance in a way. If he were to do it as a face, it would take away from the heel offense and would completely go against typical "never-say-die" face logic, where at all points of the match, he is to retain dignity as he's "fighting for what's right."
